Atlas of Prefabricated Staircases for Rural Houses
Shandong Province has an atlas of prefabricated staircases applicable to certain types of buildings, but it does not explicitly mention an atlas specifically designed for rural houses. However, the atlas of 'Prefabricated Reinforced Concrete Staircases' (L20G302) can be referenced for industrial buildings, and rural houses can also refer to it if needed.

I. Basic Information of the Atlas The Shandong Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department has approved the atlas of 'Prefabricated Reinforced Concrete Staircases', with the atlas number L20G302. This atlas is primarily applicable to indoor prefabricated staircases in residential buildings and public buildings with a seismic fortification intensity of 8 degrees or below, and industrial buildings can refer to it. This means that under certain seismic conditions, some rural industrial buildings or rural houses that meet seismic requirements can refer to this atlas for staircase design.
II. Details of Applicable Scope
- Residential Buildings: Designed with a nominal width of 1200mm and a floor height ranging from 2.8 to 3.1m, the staircase forms include equal-run double-run staircases and scissor staircases. For common self-built residential houses in rural areas, if their building scale and design requirements match these parameters, this atlas can be referenced for staircase design.
- Public Buildings: The nominal width of staircases in public buildings such as office buildings, nurseries, kindergartens, and primary and secondary schools ranges from 1200 to 1950mm, with a floor height designed according to 3.6 to 4.2m, and the staircase form is a double-run staircase. Some public facility buildings in rural areas, such as village activity centers and rural primary schools, can also refer to this atlas for staircase design if their building conditions fall within this range.
III. Content of the Atlas This atlas not only includes designs for railings and handrails but also provides staircase parameters for different types of buildings such as residential, office, and educational buildings. These detailed designs and parameters can provide comprehensive references for the staircase design of rural houses, ensuring the safety, practicality, and aesthetics of the staircases.
IV. Access Method This atlas is managed by the Shandong Provincial Construction Standard Service Center, and the specific technical content is explained by the chief compiling unit. It can be downloaded through official channels (attachment extraction code: 0e60), facilitating access and use by those in need.
