Roundup: Trendy Container Exhibition Zones — Art Inside the Box
- Hongqiao Chaoji Market Art Exhibition
The first 2022 edition took the theme "Chaoji Market X Kacha Night Market," with 10 container pop-up shops, 10+ interactive check-in spots, 20+ photo scenes, and a 25-meter graffiti flower street. The second-floor terrace paired Hongqiao Tiandi's signature IP BADA with a healthy-living concept to create a 28-meter Chaoji track. Brand partners included independent designer Tan Ali's personal shop—the Little Red Flower Vending Machine; yarn-based creative works from TUTUTU Sthdio; anime-derivative products at C-BOX Anime Shop; and creative brands such as Guaiyouqu, Hunzhi, and Huijing. They built independent brand spaces inside the container market, working with Hongqiao Tiandi to shape a fresh young social venue.

China's first trendy cool street-dance cultural-creative IP exhibition.

- Beijing Contemporary · Art Exhibition
Beijing Contemporary · Art Exhibition was again presented in five units: "Value," "Future," "Vitality," "Art Narrative," and "Cadillac x Zhongwang," with more than 40 participating institutions bringing together numerous artworks and cultural-creative pieces that show the rich layers and new directions of art today.
The container installation Unforgettable stood beside cartoon figures: giant photos of several elderly people covered different facades of the containers. After security screening, visitors could walk into the container passageway, where screens played the filming process. The work grew from Huang Bo's experience on a public-welfare program with people living with cognitive impairment. He said he hoped public artworks could express and convey messages that spark public recognition or reflection.

- Park1903 Art Festival
Park1903 invited 30+ young artists across painting, handmade work, collage, graffiti, tattoo figures, photography, floral space, and woodworking space art. Using time as a thread and different forms of expression, the festival opened a dialogue across time and space with masters from China and abroad, beginning in the year 348 CE.

- BDMG Graffiti Art
In a container art district beyond Beijing's Fourth Ring Road, what billed itself as "China's first street art museum" announced its opening. The "Bombing and Freedom" international graffiti art exhibition, co-hosted by BDMG and UNIQUESPACE, debuted at Asia's largest container UNIQUESPACE art base. BDMG, in short, covers the four elements of Hip Hop—Breaking, DJ, MC, and Graffiti—and as the "oldest" of those in BDMG, Graffiti rightly became the exhibition's most important focus.
After successful runs in Xi'an, Gansu, Hokkaido, and elsewhere, BDMG Graffiti Art finally arrived in Beijing. The show invited top graffiti artists from China, the UK, Canada, Japan, and other countries to gather in the container art district and create on site, building true "street" art. Beyond giant murals on the container bodies, the exhibition also displayed 150 works by 80 well-known Chinese and international graffiti artists.

- Blue+2.0 [From Ideal to Coast] Pop-up Exhibition
[Kapu New Media · Blue+] entered its 2.0 era with the "From Ideal to Coast" art exhibition at Cuihuali in Xi'an, building a Xi'an-exclusive Blue Art Box space, inviting many artists, and launching the Blue Sand Cycle Plan around ocean environmental protection so visitors could experience urban ocean living together.
The "Blue Sand Cycle Plan" is an installation created by Blue+2.0 from an environmental concept, and a key part of this exhibition.
Visitors could pick up a box of blue sand at the entrance, let it accompany them through the show, then pour the sand into the cycle center and return the container.
Taken from the blue, returned to the blue. Through the "Blue Sand Cycle Plan," the show invited participants to care about the marine environment and build awareness of ocean protection.
