Residential Container House Installation Diagram
Admin September 16, 2026
The residential container house installation diagram mainly involves the installation steps for two types: assembled container houses and foldable container mobile houses.

Installation Steps for Assembled Container Houses:
- Bottom Frame Installation: On a flat ground or workbench, connect the bottom corners of the container to the bottom beams using hexagon socket bolts without tightening them immediately. Adjust the diagonal difference of the bottom frame to be ≤3mm before tightening the bolts.
- Secondary Beam and Base Plate Installation: Install the π-shaped secondary beams according to the positioning holes on the long beams and fix them with m5.519 self-tapping screws. The tops of the secondary beams and bottom beams should be reinforced with st4.816 round-head drill tail screws. Lay the floor base plates (magnesium oxide boards) along the 6-meter direction, pre-drill holes at both ends, and cut the corners according to the chalk lines.
- Floor Laying and Fixing: Mark the centerline of the π-shaped beams and start laying the floor from one end, ensuring that the joints align with the centerline. After laying, snap chalk lines along the centerline (two chalk lines are required at the joints, each deviating 20mm from the centerline). Fix the floor with st4.2*38 cross-head flat-tail screws, with a nail spacing of 300-350mm.
- Floor Treatment: Sand the entire floor, especially the joints, apply PVC special floor adhesive, wait for 10-15 minutes, then lay the floor covering and expel the air. If possible, weld the joints of the floor covering.
Installation Steps for Foldable Container Mobile Houses:
- Frame Unfolding and Stabilization: Check the stability of the steel wire ropes, lift the main frame and unfold it smoothly, and place support rods in the middle of the container to maintain structural stability.
- Wall Installation: Push open one wall and tighten it with fastening screws; then push open the other wall with doors and windows and fix it with fastening screws as well.
- Lifting and Positioning: Lift the folded container house to the predetermined installation location, ensure that there is no one around, and then slowly lower it to avoid collisions or tilting.
Precautions:
- For assembled container houses, strictly control the diagonal error of the bottom frame to ensure structural stability; align the floor with the centerline during laying to avoid joint misalignment.
- During the unfolding and lifting process of foldable container houses, check the stability of the steel wire ropes and support rods to prevent accidents.
- Use special tools (such as hexagon socket bolts, self-tapping screws, etc.) during the installation process and follow the material specifications (such as screw length, spacing, etc.) requirements.
