Construction Methods for Reinforced Concrete Prefabricated Roofs
Common construction methods for reinforced concrete prefabricated roofs include the assembly of reinforced concrete prefabricated components, the construction of steel grid truss prefabricated roofs, the laying of roofing tiles after applying felt on the leveling layer, and the application of waterproof cement mortar for tile adhesion, totaling four types.

Assembly of Reinforced Concrete Prefabricated Components: This process requires complex operations involving both manual and mechanical efforts. The core components adopt a double-wall structure, formed by connecting two layers of concrete slabs with welded mesh. During construction, light cranes are used to vertically hoist the prefabricated reinforced concrete wall panels to their designated positions, where they are temporarily fixed with special brackets to ensure horizontal and vertical alignment. After all wall panels are installed, concrete is poured into the internal space of the structure to fill it, ultimately forming an integrated load-bearing wall. This method is suitable for construction scenarios with high structural strength requirements.
Construction of Steel Grid Truss Prefabricated Roofs: This method constructs a prefabricated roof system based on steel isolation frames. All peripheral support components are pre-fabricated in the factory and, during construction, are evenly erected above the building span according to the design spacing, forming the core load-bearing framework of the roof. This system significantly shortens the on-site construction period through the rapid assembly of standardized components, making it particularly suitable for the rapid construction of large-span building roofs.
Laying of Roofing Tiles after Applying Felt on the Leveling Layer: After completing the leveling treatment of the roof base layer, felt is first laid as a waterproof isolation layer, secured with wooden wedges and felt-pressing strips to ensure flatness. Then, roofing battens are installed as the base for tile fixation, and finally, roofing tiles are laid according to the specifications. This method achieves waterproofing through multiple layers of protection and is suitable for roof construction in ordinary residential buildings.
Application of Waterproof Cement Mortar for Tile Adhesion: Waterproof cement mortar is directly applied to the roof structural slab as an adhesive layer, and tiles are fixed one by one. This method provides dual protection through the waterproofing properties of the cement mortar and the physical protection of the tiles, commonly used in the construction of antique-style buildings. It not only meets the requirements of traditional architectural styles but also ensures the waterproofing effect of the roof. During construction, strict control over the mix ratio and application thickness of the cement mortar is necessary to ensure adequate bonding strength and waterproofing performance.
