Quality Standards for Prefabricated Panel Houses

Admin September 19, 2026

The quality standards for prefabricated panel houses primarily cover three core aspects: materials, construction, and acceptance.

I. Material Quality Standards
As the main load-bearing components of houses, prefabricated panels must strictly comply with the requirements of Article 26 of the Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China. Firstly, they must meet national or industry standards that ensure the protection of human health, personal safety, and property safety, such as mandatory regulations on key indicators like concrete strength, steel bar specifications, and reinforcement ratios. Secondly, the materials must possess practical performance characteristics, including crack resistance, durability, and seismic resistance, to ensure long-term structural stability under normal use conditions. Additionally, prefabricated panels must undergo quality inspections during production and be accompanied by certification documents to prevent the use of inferior or non-compliant products.

II. Construction Quality Standards
Construction units must strictly adhere to engineering design drawings and construction technical standards during operations, and are strictly prohibited from cutting corners or making unauthorized design modifications. Specific requirements include:

  1. Installation Accuracy: When assembling prefabricated panels, ensure that the levelness, perpendicularity, and joint widths comply with regulations to avoid uneven structural loading caused by installation deviations.
  2. Connection Reliability: Connection areas between panels (such as steel bar lapping and concrete pouring) must meet strength requirements to ensure the overall structure works cohesively.
  3. Hidden Work Inspection: Special inspections must be conducted on concealed parts such as embedded pipelines and joint treatments to prevent later quality issues arising from construction defects.
  4. Construction Records: Complete records of material usage, process handovers, and quality inspection data must be maintained to provide a basis for subsequent traceability.

III. Acceptance Quality Standards
The completion acceptance stage must meet the following conditions:

  1. Compliance with Construction Engineering Quality Standards: The overall structure, functionality, and aesthetic quality of the house must pass professional inspections, such as load-bearing tests and settlement observations.
  2. Document Completeness: Complete engineering technical and economic documents must be submitted, including design files, construction records, material certificates, and test reports.
  3. Warranty Commitment: The construction unit must sign an engineering warranty document, clearly specifying the warranty scope, duration, and responsibilities to protect the owner's rights.

By strictly controlling the three stages of materials, construction, and acceptance, the quality and safety of prefabricated panel houses can be effectively ensured, extending their service life.
