Qoros Mobile Toilet

Admin September 28, 2026

The Qoros mobile toilet is a small mobile restroom primarily transformed from the Qoros 5 SUV model, serving short-term or temporary needs.

Transformation Basis and Space Utilization

As a compact SUV, the Qoros 5 offers convenient space and structural features for transformation. Its trunk has a volume of approximately 450 liters, which can be expanded to around 1500 liters by removing the rear seats, providing sufficient space for installing a simple toilet and a small sink. During the transformation process, builders use lightweight materials such as plastic or aluminum alloy to ensure sturdy installation while focusing on practicality and safety.

Water Supply and Drainage System

The mobile toilet requires a small water tank to store clean water, typically with a capacity ranging from 10 to 20 liters, which can be supplied via manual or electric pumps. Drainage is collected in another container and requires regular cleaning after use. Some transformations also incorporate simple filtration devices to enhance the user experience.

Ventilation Design

To maintain air circulation inside the toilet, builders typically install small exhaust fans in the windows or on the roof. Some also use activated carbon filters to purify the air, reducing odors and bacterial growth.

Usage Scenarios

The Qoros mobile toilet primarily serves short-term or temporary needs. For example, at outdoor events such as music festivals, markets, or sports events, it can be quickly deployed to alleviate toilet queuing issues; on construction sites, it provides basic sanitary conditions for workers, preventing them from having to travel long distances to find toilets; it may also be used in remote areas or temporary settlements as a supplement to fixed facilities.

Current Status of Qoros Automobile

Although Qoros Automobile once carried the dignity of Chinese manufacturing standing tall, earning the nickname 'China's BMW,' it ultimately went bankrupt. Its 35 billion yuan in equity was frozen, with nearly 4 billion yuan in enforcement amounts, marking a tumultuous development journey. However, the Qoros 5-transformed mobile toilet, as an innovative application, still demonstrates the spatial and structural advantages of its vehicle model to a certain extent.
