Qijiang Intelligent Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

Qijiang has made remarkable progress in the construction of intelligent mobile toilets. This year, five public toilets, including smart public toilets, have been newly built. Among them, the public toilet in Yingpanshan Park is the first smart public toilet in Qijiang, which was constructed in June and put into use in July this year.

I. Smart Equipment Configuration of Smart Public Toilets The smart public toilet in Yingpanshan Park is equipped with multiple smart devices to enhance the user experience and management efficiency. The one-touch calling system allows special groups (such as the elderly and disabled people) to quickly contact management personnel when they need help. The environmental monitoring system can monitor indicators such as temperature, humidity, and air quality inside the toilet in real time and automatically adjust the environment through the constant-temperature air conditioner to ensure comfort. The toilet stall occupancy display system updates the occupancy status of toilet stalls in real time through sensors, guiding users to quickly find available stalls and reducing queuing time. In addition, the toilet has optimized key service areas such as the third toilet, barrier-free facilities, and mother-and-baby facilities to meet the diverse needs of different groups.

II. Composition and Functions of the Smart System The smart system of the smart public toilet is mainly composed of basic smart facilities and energy-saving and environmentally friendly facilities. Basic smart facilities include equipment such as environmental monitoring, toilet stall sensing, and one-touch calling for data collection and interaction. Energy-saving and environmentally friendly facilities optimize the use of water and electricity through smart control technologies, such as automatically adjusting lighting and ventilation according to the flow of people to reduce energy consumption. Through an integrated management platform, the system can display the operating status of the toilet in real time, providing data support for management personnel and improving maintenance efficiency.

III. Construction Advantages: Cost and Efficiency This smart public toilet is constructed using a light steel structure, which has significant advantages over traditional civil-engineering frame public toilets: the construction cost is reduced by half, and the construction speed is more than doubled. Light steel structure materials can be prefabricated and quickly assembled on site, greatly shortening the construction period. At the same time, the modular design facilitates later maintenance and upgrades, extending the service life of the toilet. This construction method not only meets environmental protection requirements but also adapts to the rapid update needs of urban public facilities.

The construction of smart public toilets in Qijiang provides a replicable model for urban public services through technological innovation and human-centered design, promoting the development of the "toilet revolution" towards intelligence and refinement.
