Puan Mobile Toilet Sewage Disposal
There are various sewage disposal methods for mobile toilets in Puan, including conventional water-flushing, water-storage sewage systems, sewage storage tanks, connection to municipal sewage networks, and biochemical treatment technologies.

Conventional water-flushing mobile toilets require connection to water supply and drainage pipes, with sewage disposal achieved through manual or automatic sensing. The sewage is discharged into septic tanks or municipal sewage networks. This method is suitable for areas with well-established water supply and drainage facilities, enabling efficient sewage treatment, but it requires certain infrastructure support.
The water-storage sewage system flushes waste into a storage tank. When the tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This sewage disposal method is suitable for locations with abundant water resources and easy access for cleaning, such as scenic areas with rich water sources and convenient transportation, where the storage tank can be promptly cleaned to ensure normal toilet use.
The sewage storage tank method involves placing a sealed sewage storage tank at the bottom of the mobile toilet. After sewage is discharged into the tank, it is pumped out by a sewage suction truck and transported to a sewage treatment plant for centralized treatment. This method offers high flexibility and is not restricted by water supply and drainage pipes, making it suitable for remote areas or temporary installations. Regular cleaning of the sewage storage tank by a sewage suction truck can effectively solve sewage disposal problems.
Some mobile toilets are directly connected to the municipal sewage network system through pipes, with sewage flowing into the treatment plant along the network. This requires the mobile toilet to be conveniently located for connection to the municipal sewage network. Once connected, the sewage can be directly treated at the plant, providing a relatively convenient sewage disposal method.
Additionally, some mobile toilets are equipped with small-scale biochemical treatment devices inside. These devices use microorganisms to decompose organic matter in the sewage, and the treated sewage can be directly discharged after meeting emission standards. This biochemical treatment technology is environmentally friendly, reducing pollution to the environment, but it requires regular maintenance and management of the biochemical treatment device to ensure its normal operation.
The Kaijiang County Culture and Tourism Center, in collaboration with Puan Town, conducted a comprehensive review of the management and maintenance mechanisms, personnel allocation, and daily cleaning of the mobile environmental toilets in the Lotus World area. They implemented measures such as assigning specific personnel to specific locations and strengthening daily management and maintenance, resolving issues such as dirty, disordered, and poorly maintained toilets and lack of running water, ensuring the normal use of the toilets and providing a guarantee for the effective implementation of these sewage disposal methods.
