PU Panel Prefabricated House

Admin September 18, 2026

PU panels are used in various forms in prefabricated houses, mainly including SIP composite house panels, roof sandwich panels, and wall and roof insulation panels.

SIP Composite House Panels

SIP composite houses are prefabricated and installed on-site using SIP panels, which typically consist of OSB as the facing material and polyurethane (PU) as the core material. In this structural form, PU, as the core material, is sandwiched between OSB panels, forming a composite panel with excellent performance. In addition to OSB panels, SIP panels can also use other materials such as magnesium oxide boards and cement fiber boards as facing materials to meet the needs of different scenarios. SIP composite houses are characterized by simple construction and short construction periods, as most components are prefabricated in the factory and only need to be assembled on-site, greatly shortening the construction cycle. At the same time, the PU core material has good sound insulation and thermal insulation properties, effectively reducing the energy consumption of the house and improving living comfort. In addition, SIP composite houses also have strong earthquake resistance, providing better safety protection in natural disasters such as earthquakes.

Roof Sandwich Panels

Double-layer metal thermal insulation, fire-resistant, environmentally friendly, modern, and easy-to-install polyurethane sandwich panels are widely used in the roofs of prefabricated houses. These sandwich panels use metal as the outer facing material and PU as the core material, providing excellent thermal insulation and fire resistance. The metal panels not only provide good structural strength but also effectively prevent rainwater penetration, protecting the PU core material from damage. The PU core material effectively isolates heat transfer between the interior and exterior of the house, reducing energy consumption. At the same time, these sandwich panels are easy to install, greatly improving the construction efficiency of the roof.

Wall and Roof Insulation Panels

Thermal insulation aluminum PU polyurethane metal sandwich insulation panels can be used for the walls and roofs of prefabricated houses. These insulation panels use aluminum metal as the outer facing material and PU as the core material, achieving excellent thermal insulation performance through a sandwich structure. The aluminum panels are not only aesthetically pleasing and durable but also effectively reflect solar radiation, reducing heat absorption by the house. The PU core material effectively prevents heat transfer, maintaining a stable indoor temperature. In addition, PU sandwich panel exterior wall metal insulation panels and polyurethane rigid foam roof panels are also commonly used insulation materials in prefabricated houses, with similar performance and characteristics.
