Prefabricated Wooden House Structural Drawings
Currently, there are no directly complete structural drawings for prefabricated wooden houses, but their composition and characteristics can be understood based on relevant structural information.

SIP Panel Building Structure
SIP panels, or Structural Insulated Panels, are a commonly used structural form in prefabricated wooden houses. They consist of two structural outer panels with a rigid foam core sandwiched in between, and the structural outer panels are typically made of OSB (Oriented Strand Board). This structure offers numerous advantages. It can serve simultaneously as floors, walls, and roofs, integrating structural and insulation functions. During assembly, its prefabricated nature enables rapid construction, significantly shortening the construction period. For example, in the construction of small vacation cabins, using SIP panels allows for the quick establishment of the house's basic framework, providing time for subsequent decoration and other work. Moreover, SIP panels have excellent insulation properties, with the rigid foam core effectively preventing heat transfer, reducing energy consumption, and improving the house's energy efficiency.
Wooden Roof Truss Structure
Wooden roof trusses are a key structural element in the roof section of prefabricated wooden houses. Common types include triangular trusses, which are frequently used for roof construction. They can be built on-site at ground level or prefabricated in a factory and then installed on the roof using lifting equipment. This construction method offers high flexibility, adapting to various construction environments and conditions. Parallel trusses are often used for constructing floors or lofts, providing stable support for the upper spaces of the house. Wooden roof trusses are generally made of dimension lumber, and in special cases, other materials may be combined to meet specific structural requirements, enhancing their load-bearing capacity and stability.
Glulam Prefabricated House Structure
Take a residential building near the sand dunes in South Holland as an example. Its structure is composed of visible glulam columns, beams, and floor slabs. Glulam has high strength and stability, capable of bearing significant loads and providing reliable support for the house. For the infill sections, open or closed elements can be used, selected according to different design needs and functional requirements. The walls supporting the vertical facade components adopt a lighter wooden frame structure, which not only ensures the stability of the walls but also reduces the overall weight of the house, contributing to its earthquake and wind resistance.
