Wiring in Prefabricated Slab Houses
Admin September 18, 2026
The following plans, material selection, safety precautions, and other tips can be referred to for wiring in prefabricated slab houses:

Wiring Plans
- Utilize the ceiling space: When there is a suspended ceiling, use the space inside it to arrange electrical conduits, which will not damage the structure of the prefabricated floor slab. Ensure that the conduits are firmly fixed and the electrical wires have good insulation properties.
- Groove the wall: This is suitable for connecting electrical wires between different indoor locations. Before grooving, understand the wall structure to avoid damaging load-bearing walls or the connection parts between the prefabricated floor slab and the wall. After grooving, fill and repair the wall surface in a timely manner.
- Straight-line wiring: Run the electrical wires along straight structures such as beams, columns, and walls of the prefabricated slab house. This is simple and direct and suitable for indoor wiring.
- Surface wiring: In the room, run the wires perpendicular to the wall, passing them from above or below the wall, and fix the wires directly on the wall surface. Ensure that the wires are firmly fixed to prevent shaking. It is strictly prohibited to groove the prefabricated floor slab for laying pipelines. Instead, raised floors or wiring along the wall corners can be used.
Material Selection
- PVC cable conduits: These have stable quality and a long service life and are one of the commonly used materials. When using them, ensure that the conduit size matches the actual requirements.
- Electrical wires: Choose high-quality wires produced by regular manufacturers. Inferior wires are prone to causing safety accidents.
- Steel pipes: These are widely used in concealed wiring. They are not easily affected by external forces and have a long service life.
Safety Precautions
- Avoid areas with steel plates and steel bars that are prone to electrical accidents to prevent accidental electric shock.
- When conducting concealed wiring, paste warning signs to remind construction workers to pay attention to safety.
- Pay attention to indoor ventilation to prevent wire damage or fire.
Other Tips
- When running wires along straight structures such as beams, columns, and walls, ensure that the wire tension is appropriate to avoid affecting the service life due to being too loose or too tight.
- When conducting concealed wiring, lay the conduits according to the design plan and strictly control the depth and levelness to prevent deviations.
- When wiring, consider the needs of later maintenance. Choose easily removable wiring conduits and other materials to facilitate later repair and replacement.
