Roof Practice Diagram of Prefabricated Slab Buildings
If the roof of a prefabricated slab building adopts the 'prefabricated slab + cast-in-place strip combination scheme', the specific practices are as follows:

Prefabricated Slab Selection
Select 'prestressed hollow slabs' with circular holes in the middle as the prefabricated slabs. Prestressed hollow slabs have many advantages. Their prestressed design can enhance the slab's flexural capacity, making it less prone to deformation and damage when bearing roof loads. The circular hole design in the middle not only reduces the slab's own weight, facilitating transportation and installation, but also saves material costs to a certain extent. At the same time, this structural form can better adapt to deformation under the influence of environmental factors such as thermal expansion and contraction, reducing the likelihood of cracks.
Laying Position
Lay the selected prefabricated slabs on top of the load-bearing walls. As an important supporting part of the building structure, load-bearing walls can provide a stable supporting foundation for the prefabricated slabs. During the laying process, ensure that the prefabricated slabs are in close contact with the load-bearing walls to avoid gaps. Materials such as cement mortar can be used for leveling and bonding to ensure the flatness and firmness of the prefabricated slab installation. If there are gaps between the prefabricated slabs and the load-bearing walls, uneven settlement of the roof may occur during subsequent use, leading to roof leakage and other problems.
Cast-in-Place Strip Setting
Set cast-in-place strips with a width of 15 to 20 centimeters at all the joints of the prefabricated slabs. The role of the cast-in-place strips is crucial. They act like a 'lock', connecting the scattered prefabricated slabs into a whole. Through the cast-in-place concrete strips, the overall integrity and stability of the roof can be enhanced, improving the roof's crack resistance and waterproof performance. When pouring the cast-in-place strips, ensure that the concrete mix ratio is accurate and well-mixed to ensure the quality of the concrete. At the same time, pay attention to the compactness of the pouring to avoid quality problems such as honeycombs and pitted surfaces. After pouring is completed, appropriate curing is also required to ensure the normal growth of the concrete's strength.
