Floor Plan of Prefabricated Slab Buildings

Admin September 19, 2026

Floor plans of prefabricated slab buildings vary depending on the building type and design requirements, with common designs for different scenarios such as hospital reinforcement, two-story brick-concrete structures, two-story residential buildings, and three-story square-shaped units.

In the reinforcement design of the G building (formerly the Ophthalmology Hospital) of Zhenjiang First People's Hospital, a four-story prefabricated slab reinforcement floor plan was involved. This design was completed by Jiangsu Zhongsen Architectural Design Co., Ltd., with a drawing date of January 2024. This case primarily focuses on the reinforcement and renovation of hospital buildings, with the floor plan designed around medical functional layouts and the specific locations and methods of prefabricated slab reinforcement to meet the special requirements of hospital buildings in terms of structural safety and functional use.

The case of a young man building a house with prefabricated slabs features a two-story brick-concrete structure. The ground floor uses prefabricated slabs, while the second floor is cast in place. The floor plan shows that the left side of the blue dividing line is his home, and the right side is his cousin's home. In terms of functional area design, the stair landing serves as a junction point, facilitating movement between different floors and areas; the bathroom is located under the stairs, making full use of the space; the bedrooms are on the south side, receiving good sunlight and ventilation; the kitchen is connected to the living room, making the space more open and convenient for family activities and communication.

The case of building a house with red bricks and prefabricated slabs provides a two-story floor plan. Upon entering the first floor, there is a living room, which serves as the main space for family activities and receiving guests; to the left are the living room, kitchen, and dining room in sequence, with clear functional divisions for daily life; to the right is a large bedroom suite, providing a relatively private living space. The second floor is designed with four bedrooms, with a suite on the east side and the other three arranged in sequence, meeting the living needs of family members.

The case of building a house for 200,000 yuan features a three-story square-shaped symmetrical design, including floor plans for the first and second floors, with the floor laid using prefabricated slabs. The symmetrical design of the square-shaped unit makes the building's appearance neat and the internal space utilization more reasonable, while the use of prefabricated slabs for the floor reflects the convenience and cost-effectiveness of construction.
