Prefabricated Mobile Reinforced Concrete Toilet

Admin October 10, 2026

The prefabricated mobile reinforced concrete toilet features high strength, excellent sealing, and rapid construction, but faces challenges such as transportation difficulties and the need for weathering protection, requiring professional installation for fixation.

Material and Structural Characteristics
The core components of the prefabricated mobile reinforced concrete toilet are made of reinforced concrete materials, produced through factory prefabrication, including septic tanks, toilet wall panels, and floor slabs. Reinforced concrete provides it with high strength and compressive resistance. After anti-seepage treatment, its sealing performance is significantly better than traditional brick-concrete structures, especially the integrated prefabricated septic tank, which effectively reduces the risk of leakage. Factory production ensures the stability of component quality, reduces on-site work volume, and shortens the construction period by more than 50% compared to traditional methods.

Transportation and Installation Challenges
Due to the heavy weight of the concrete prefabricated parts, transportation requires specialized equipment (such as cranes and flatbed trucks). In remote rural areas or regions with narrow roads, handling becomes significantly more difficult. Additionally, the surface of the components is prone to micro-cracks due to capillary action, necessitating the application of internal and external anti-seepage coatings during the production stage. Regular maintenance is also required to prevent weathering and peeling during long-term outdoor use.

Fixation Methods and Construction Requirements
For long-term fixation, a concrete foundation can be used:

  1. Excavation of the foundation pit: Dig a foundation pit with a depth of 50 cm and a width of 60 cm according to the toilet size to ensure the bearing capacity of the foundation.
  2. Cushion layer treatment: Lay a 10 cm thick layer of crushed stone at the bottom of the pit and compact it to enhance drainage and anti-settlement capabilities.
  3. Concrete pouring: After formwork installation, pour C30 concrete and insert a steel reinforcement framework (such as Φ12 deformed steel bars) to enhance structural strength.
  4. Connection and fixation: After the concrete has set for 3-5 days, connect the toilet chassis to the foundation using bolts or welding.
Precautions: Construction permits must be obtained before starting work to avoid damaging underground pipelines; for heavy toilets, the foundation thickness or reinforcement quantity should be increased.

Applicable Scenarios and Limitations
This type of toilet is suitable for densely populated rural areas with stable geology, especially for rapid renovation projects of dry toilets. However, its weight and transportation requirements limit its application in areas with poor traffic conditions. Additionally, long-term outdoor use requires attention to the aging of the anti-seepage coating, and it is recommended to inspect and repair it every 5 years.
