Construction Plan for Railings of Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The construction plan for railings of prefabricated houses mainly includes four parts: construction preparation, main construction process, quality control, and safety measures. Details are as follows:

I. Construction Preparation

  1. Organizational Preparation: Establish a project team and clarify responsibilities; organize technical personnel to familiarize themselves with the drawings and prepare technical disclosure documents; conduct specialized training for construction personnel, focusing on explaining installation accuracy control, welding processes, and safety regulations.
  2. Material Preparation: Railing materials must meet design requirements, such as concrete railings with a strength grade not lower than C40, steel component columns made of Q235B grade steel, and handrails made of 304 stainless steel pipes, etc.; material acceptance implements a 'three-level inspection system', including appearance inspection, dimension verification, and performance testing.
  3. Equipment Preparation: Equip with truck cranes, argon arc welding machines, total stations, level gauges, and other equipment for component lifting, welding, measurement, and fastening operations.
  4. Construction Site Preparation: The base treatment must ensure that the concrete strength reaches at least 80% of the design value and the surface flatness meets requirements; safety guardrails and dense mesh safety nets should be set up for edge operations, and full-hall scaffolding should be erected when the height exceeds 2m; a circular transportation road should be set up within the site to ensure that the road surface bearing capacity meets requirements.

II. Main Construction Process

  1. Surveying and Setting Out: Based on the bridge centerline, set out the inner sideline of the railing and the elevation control line, and snap the centerline of the column and the installation control line.
  2. Railing Installation: Column installation adopts a two-point lifting method, adjusts the perpendicularity, and then temporarily fixes it; railing panel installation proceeds from the middle to both ends, with the gap controlled at 2-3mm, and filled with dry hard cement mortar; handrail installation adopts tenon joint connection, and for curved sections, an arc-shaped template is made to ensure smooth lines, and the joints are welded and then polished and polished.

III. Quality Control

  1. Material Quality Control: Strictly control material quality to ensure it meets design requirements and conduct sampling inspections.
  2. Construction Process Quality Control: Conduct technical disclosures to construction personnel, supervise and inspect the construction process, ensure that the transportation protection of prefabricated components is in place, on-site construction strictly follows the drawings, and the railing assembly is firmly connected and flat.

IV. Safety Measures

  1. Construction Personnel Safety: Conduct safety education for construction personnel and equip them with safety protective equipment.
  2. Construction Machinery Safety: Regularly inspect construction machinery to ensure safe operation.
  3. On-site Safety Protection: Set up safety guardrails and dense mesh safety nets for edge operations, and erect full-hall scaffolding when the height exceeds 2m.
