Grouting Pipeline for Prefabricated Houses
Admin September 17, 2026
In prefabricated houses, when functions similar to grouting pipelines are involved, perforated grouting pipes are typically used as the core piping material. Their technical characteristics and construction key points are as follows:

I. Core Functions and Applicable Scenarios of the Piping Material
Perforated grouting pipes achieve grout penetration through pre-set grout outlet holes on the pipe wall, primarily used for filling, consolidation, and water stopping. Typical application scenarios include:
- Structural Reinforcement: Such as leakage control in basement floors and side walls, where cement-based or chemical grout is injected under high pressure to seal concrete cracks or formation pores;
- Construction Joint Treatment: Grouting pipes are embedded in post-pour strips, construction joints, and other locations. After pouring, secondary grouting is performed to enhance joint tightness;
- Underground Engineering Protection: In scenarios such as basement waterproof curtains and tunnel advance support, grout is used to consolidate the surrounding soil, improving structural stability;
- Slope and Dam Reinforcement: Grout is injected into slopes or dams through grouting pipes to form waterproof curtains or reinforcement zones.
II. Key Points of Construction Technology
Embedded Installation:
- Before pouring concrete, cover the perforated piping material with geotextile (to prevent grout from clogging the holes) and fix it to the surface of the construction joint using slots or nails, with fixing points spaced 200-300 millimeters apart;
- Grouting conduits must be equipped at both ends of the piping material. After pouring, reserve recesses and cover them to facilitate subsequent repeated grouting.
Grouting Parameter Control:
- The grouting pressure must be adjusted according to the formation or structural strength to avoid pipe deformation or grout overflow due to excessive pressure;
- The grout mix ratio must comply with design requirements. For example, the water-cement ratio of cement-based grout must be controlled, and the curing time of chemical grout must match engineering needs.
III. Piping Material Selection Criteria
- Size Parameters: Verify the material (such as PVC or steel pipe), outer diameter, wall thickness, hole diameter, hole spacing, and perforation rate to ensure consistent sizing within the same batch of products;
- Performance Requirements:
- Hole Patency: Before leaving the factory, ensure that the grout outlet holes are not clogged to prevent grouting failure;
- Corrosion Protection: If used in humid or corrosive environments, the piping material must have a corrosion-resistant coating and provide pressure and corrosion resistance test reports;
- Connection Method: Choose threaded, flanged, or quick-connect joints according to construction needs to ensure tightness.
IV. Precautions
- Perform a pipeline tightness test before grouting to prevent grout leakage;
- Clean up residual grout after construction to avoid corrosion or clogging of the piping material;
- When repeating grouting, check the integrity of the piping material and replace it promptly if damage is found.
Through reasonable selection and standardized construction, perforated grouting pipes can effectively enhance the durability and waterproof performance of prefabricated house structures, meeting the needs of complex engineering scenarios.
