Prefabricated Flat House Roof Formula

Admin September 18, 2026

The formula for a prefabricated flat house roof generally consists of raw materials such as cement, sand, gravel, and steel bars, with specific proportions and quantities adjusted according to actual conditions.

Cement: As the base material, cement has strong bonding and hardening properties, making it a key component in the formula for a prefabricated flat house roof. Generally, cement with grades p.o, p.c, or p.s can be used. Its quantity is determined based on the size and strength grade of the floor slab, typically around 300 - 400 kg of cement per square meter of floor slab. The selection and quantity of cement directly affect the strength and durability of the roof, so reasonable matching is required according to specific engineering requirements.

Sand: Sand is mainly used in the formula to mix with cement and gravel, serving as a filler and bonding agent. Generally, sand with a particle size requirement between 0.15 mm and 5 mm is used. This particle size range helps ensure the uniformity and compactness of the concrete. The quantity of sand is generally around 800 - 1000 kg per square meter of floor slab, with specific quantities also adjusted according to the size and strength grade of the floor slab.

Gravel: Gravel is the aggregate raw material in the formula for a prefabricated flat house roof, mainly used to increase the strength and load-bearing capacity of the floor slab. Generally, aggregate with a particle size of 5 - 30 mm is used. This particle size range helps form a good aggregate structure and improves the compressive strength of the concrete. The quantity of gravel is generally around 1500 - 2000 kg per square meter of floor slab, also requiring appropriate adjustments according to specific circumstances.

Steel Bars: Steel bars are reinforcing materials, mainly responsible for increasing the load-bearing capacity and seismic resistance of the floor slab. Their quantity and arrangement are determined based on the strength and size of the floor slab to ensure that the roof remains stable and safe under load.

In addition, there is a saying that the prefabricated flat house roof can be proportioned according to a ratio of 1:3:2.5 for cement, gravel, and sand. However, it should be noted that the formula for a prefabricated floor slab (roof) is not fixed. In actual construction, appropriate adjustments should be made according to specific environmental conditions and material quality to ensure that the quality and performance of the roof meet design requirements.
