Prefabricated Factory Building Roof Node Diagram
Admin September 18, 2026
Currently, there is no complete graphical information specifically targeting the roof node diagram of prefabricated factory buildings, but the following relevant content can be referred to for understanding the roof node design of prefabricated factory buildings:

Prefabricated Panel Floor Nodes
There is a CAD drawing file named '3.5.24 Prefabricated Panel Floor Nodes.dwg', which mainly displays the design content of prefabricated panel floor nodes. Although it focuses on floor nodes, there is a certain similarity in the connection concepts of prefabricated components between prefabricated panel floors and roof nodes, from which ideas on the connection methods and structural treatments of prefabricated components can be obtained.
Prefabricated Floor Panel Connection Nodes
- Connection Types: The connections of prefabricated floor panels include panel seam connections and end connections. The connection methods between common prefabricated double-T panels and prestressed concrete hollow slabs and their supporting structures are diverse.
- Double-T Panel and Supporting Structure Connections:
- Panel Rib Bottom Connections: The current 18G432–1 'Prestressed Concrete Double-T Panels' provides two methods. One is to set corresponding embedded steel plates at the bottom of the double-T panel ribs and the top of the supporting beams, and connect the embedded steel components by welding; the other is to set embedded steel components at the top of the supporting beams and embed steel pipes at the bottom of the double-T panel ribs, and connect the embedded steel components with bolts.
- Tongue-and-Groove Connections: Grooves are cut in the double-T panels and the supporting structures to form tongue-and-groove connections. This connection method can enhance the overall integrity and stability of the structure.
Steel Structure Roof Nodes
- Ridge Nodes: The core structure consists of roof metal panels + ridge cover plates + ridge end caps + reinforcing back panels + sliding supports. The ridge cover plates cover the panel seams, the ridge end caps seal the ends, and the sliding supports address temperature deformations, preventing board tearing due to thermal expansion and contraction. Construction points include applying sealant between the ridge end caps and the roof panels, with a lap length of the cover plates not less than 150mm, etc.
- Eave Nodes: The core structure consists of metal roof panels + eave gutters + eave trim strips + interior and exterior wall panels + wall insulation. The eave gutters receive roof rainwater, the trim strips fix the panel edges, and the wall insulation blocks the cold and heat bridges, preventing condensation and water seepage. Construction points include the need for flashing treatment at the junction of the gutters and the roof panels, etc.
- Other Nodes: Canopy nodes, exterior gutter nodes, expansion joint nodes, skylight panel nodes, etc., also have their own core structures and key functions, and their construction points vary. For example, the lap between the canopy roof panel and the roof panel needs to be sealed with sealant, the slope of the exterior gutters should be set according to the design requirements, generally not less than 5‰, and the installation direction of the sliding components should be consistent with the expansion direction of the panels, etc.
