Prefabricated Concrete Component House

Admin September 18, 2026

Prefabricated concrete component houses are a form of construction that involves industrial production of building components and on-site assembly, also known as prefabricated assembled buildings. They are characterized by efficiency, environmental friendliness, and controllable quality.

Main Types and Technical Coverage

Prefabricated concrete component houses can be divided into three categories: Panel-assembled houses, which use prefabricated wall panels and floor slabs as the core, can expand usable area but have limited design flexibility; Box-assembled houses, which combine prefabricated functional units, can increase construction speed by 50%-70% but have higher requirements for transportation and lifting equipment; Frame-assembled houses, such as the prestressed prefabricated concrete assembled integral frame structure system used in the Nanjing Jindi Yufang project. The technology covers structural types (prefabricated concrete structures and steel structures) and component types (prefabricated products such as beams, slabs, walls, and columns, as well as municipal landscape components such as stairs and pipe galleries).

Core Advantages

  1. Shortened Construction Period: The combination of industrial production and on-site assembly can reduce the construction period by more than 50%. For example, a two-story reinforced concrete shell house can be completed in about two weeks.
  2. Reduced Pollution: On-site construction waste is reduced by 80%. In Fujian Province and other regions, industrial bases have been established with policy support, achieving a waste reduction of more than 70%.
  3. Controllable Quality: Factory standardized production enables millimeter-level precision control, with component dimensional deviations far lower than those of traditional construction.

Production Process and Quality Control

The production process includes mold preparation (assembling molds and spraying release agents), steel bar arrangement (cross-binding into a mesh framework and placing connectors), concrete pouring (filling and vibrating to remove air bubbles), curing treatment (covering with plastic greenhouses and heating to promote hydration reactions), and on-site assembly (transportation and splicing using connectors). In terms of quality control, defects such as shrinkage cracks and honeycombing are reduced by optimizing curing humidity and adding water reducers; exterior wall finish sealants must pass a 2000-hour weather resistance test, and the anchoring strength of embedded parts must reach 1.2 times the GB 50010 standard.

Applications and Industry Standards

Domestically, companies such as Vanke Group have developed prefabricated shear wall residential structural systems and applied prefabricated frame technology. In terms of overseas exports, in the first four months of 2026, the Guangzhou Customs district exported movable houses worth 1.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%. Industry standards implement quality acceptance in accordance with GB/T51231, and the 2023 standards in Hainan Province stipulate that inspection batch divisions must be combined with engineering characteristics. BIM technology is applied throughout the production process for clash detection, reducing error rates to below 0.3%.
