Prefabricated Cement House Construction Guide
Admin September 18, 2026
There are mainly two methods for constructing prefabricated cement houses: cement module assembly and rapid construction of cement 'prefabricated houses'. Here is a detailed guide:

Method 1: Cement Module Assembly (Similar to 'Building Blocks')
- Module Preparation: Reinforced concrete cement modules need to be fabricated in advance at a factory or specialized site. Modules should be prefabricated according to design drawings, ensuring precise dimensions, reasonable reinforcement configuration, and achieving design strength through curing. The quality of modules directly affects the structural safety of the house, so it is necessary to strictly inspect indicators such as concrete strength and the thickness of the reinforcement cover.
- On-site Assembly: Use a crane to lift each module to the designated position one by one and secure them through pre-reserved reinforcement connection holes or welding. The assembly sequence usually starts from the bottom layer and progresses upward layer by layer, ensuring that the verticality and levelness between modules comply with regulations. During the assembly process, the position of the modules should be calibrated in real-time to avoid structural deformation caused by error accumulation.
- Advantages: Fast construction speed (module prefabrication in the factory and on-site construction proceed simultaneously), controllable quality (the factory environment is conducive to controlling concrete curing conditions), suitable for standardized residential or temporary building projects.
Method 2: Rapid Construction of Cement 'Prefabricated Houses' (Case Study in Rural Henan)
- Foundation Preparation: After leveling the site, construct the foundation. Choose an independent foundation, strip foundation, or raft foundation according to the geological conditions. The foundation needs to bear the total weight of the house, so the foundation type should be determined through geological surveys.
- Module Installation: Transport the prefabricated complete modules, including walls, floors, and roofs, to the site and quickly assemble them using a forklift or crane. The modules are connected through bolts, welding, or embedded parts to form an integral structure. In the Henan case study, a villa can complete the main assembly within 4 hours, demonstrating extremely high efficiency.
- Finishing Work:
- Water and Electricity Connection: Lay pipelines in the pre-reserved holes of the modules to ensure the integrity of the electrical and water systems;
- Door and Window Installation: Install door and window frames according to the design dimensions and fill them with sealing materials;
- Decoration: The exterior walls can be sprayed with stone-like paint or tiled, and the interior can be finished with flooring and wall painting for refined treatment.
- Characteristics: Low cost (approximately 300 yuan per square meter), suitable for the rapid occupancy needs of rural areas; however, it is important to choose modules produced by regular manufacturers to avoid safety hazards caused by material or process defects.
Precautions:
- When choosing a prefabricated house, select a regular manufacturer with production qualifications to ensure that the module production process (such as concrete mix ratio and curing cycle) and material quality (such as reinforcement grade and cement grade) comply with national standards.
- On-site assembly should strictly follow module design specifications, for example, connection nodes should meet seismic requirements, and assembly gaps should be filled with waterproof mortar to ensure structural stability and durability.
