Prefabricated Assembly-Type House Mould

Admin September 17, 2026

Prefabricated assembly-type house moulds are key industrial equipment that achieve concrete forming through specific structures, mainly divided into two categories: cement house moulds and prefabricated component moulds.

Cement House Moulds

Evolved from traditional large steel formwork for buildings, their core components include mould liners, exterior wall moulds, bases, and slide rails, etc. With a self-weight exceeding 20 tons, strict adherence to safety operation procedures is required. They form casting cavities through opening and closing the moulds and accelerate concrete hardening by combining with steam curing processes. They have undergone four generations of technological upgrades: the first generation featured a simple structure, the second generation achieved vertical wall forming, the third generation supported multi-size adjustments, and the fourth generation adopted a fully automatic hydraulic system integrated with electric vibration functions. The moulds can be reused for about 5-8 years, with wall thicknesses ranging from 14-17 cm and panel thicknesses from 10-13 cm. They can concentrate on prefabricating components to shorten construction periods and are suitable for the production needs of housing factories of different scales. For example, the third-generation telescopic cement house mould achieves efficient production of standardized components through its telescopic design to fit multiple sizes.

Prefabricated Component Moulds

With steel moulds as the main structure, their core functions include wet demoulding technology, modular design of chamfer forming tooling, and new positioning systems such as magnetic box-fixed side moulds. They directly affect the geometric accuracy and production efficiency of prefabricated parts such as laminated slabs and stairs and are used to produce six types of standard components including laminated floor slabs and balcony slabs. The typical structure consists of standardized components composed of base moulds, side moulds, and end moulds. Manufacturing requires compliance with stiffness calculation specifications, with support structures selected from section steel or steel plates, and the design values of bearing capacity must meet specification requirements. Current technological development focuses on the composite application of automatic demoulding devices and lightweight materials (such as glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and aluminum alloy composites) to increase turnover times and reduce weight. The mould systems are divided into independent moulds (with a large amount of steel used, suitable for the repeated production of a single component) and large base mould systems (with shared base moulds and reusable side moulds), with main types including large base moulds, laminated floor slab moulds, balcony slab moulds, etc.

Design Criteria and Cases

Mould design must adhere to requirements for bearing capacity, stiffness, stability, and dimensional accuracy, taking into account the expansion allowance for concrete setting, ensuring easy assembly and disassembly, convenient reinforcement installation, and giving priority to meeting demoulding requirements. For example, the patent for 'A Reassemblable Universal Mould for Prefabricated Concrete Stairs' by Nantong Keda Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. achieves improved versatility through modular design.
