Portable Toilet Renovation
There are mainly the following ways to renovate portable toilets:

1. Renovation using a water storage barrel
First, take out the water storage barrel and split it in half with an angle grinder. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for mobility. Take wooden strips and fix them to the upper side of the barrel with self-tapping screws to increase the height. Open a door on the side of the water storage barrel, install sponge strips to form a door frame, embed plastic soft boards to create an elevated wall, place the upper half on top of the wooden strips as a roof, and apply white waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics. Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Open a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Open holes on the side to connect direct fittings. Place a plastic bucket on the roof as a small water storage device, connect a water pipe-made bath heater, install a tee fitting below the water inlet pipe and connect a showerhead. Place a toilet and install a water tank, fix it with glass glue, connect the drain pipe to the sewage barrel, connect the outlet pipe tee horizontally to a water pipe extending to the door as the water inlet pipe for the washbasin, and open a hole on the door to install a fitting. This method has a relatively low cost but requires certain manual operation skills, making it suitable for simple home renovations.
2. Renovation using a water storage tank and a pallet
Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet and place a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line at the top to remove the top and form an open tank. Invert and stack another open tank and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut the outer frame and the tank to form a door opening. Open a hole in the internal floor and insert an elbow to connect a water pipe, and seal the gaps with glue. Place the toilet in alignment with the drain opening and fix it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall clips and install a faucet. Fix a pipe cap with screws below, connect a water pipe, and open a hole as the outlet for the drain pipe. Fix a stainless steel basin on the pipe cap as a washbasin, connect the water inlet pipe of the toilet water tank and the shower hose, install a bracket and a toilet seat, and finally install a spray-type showerhead. This method utilizes waste materials, is environmentally friendly, and has relatively complete functions, but attention should be paid to sealing and stability.
3. Design using new materials and water-saving technology
The frame is welded with national standard steel, and the surface is covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color steel plates or carved panels. It is equipped with an independent toilet pit partition treatment system. The urine channel uses gravity flow, and the feces channel is cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device. It is equipped with a non-slip floor, an automatic flushing toilet bowl, and a ventilation and lighting system. This method features advanced technology, is water-saving and environmentally friendly, and has comprehensive functions, but it has a relatively high cost and is suitable for public places or scenarios with high hygiene requirements.
4. Design using aluminum checkered plates and stone-like patterns
This method is mainly aimed at rural toilets. It creates a safe and comfortable toilet environment through the design of aluminum checkered plates and stone-like patterns. However, the specific renovation steps are not detailed. It is speculated that it may involve material replacement and structural optimization to improve durability and aesthetics.
