Portable Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

A portable toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services for the public and customers.

I. Basic Components A portable toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the toilet are realized. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat excreta, the sanitary ware provides toilet appliances, and the water tank supplies water for flushing.

II. Main Features Its significant advantage lies in its mobility. It can be easily transported to any location where it is needed, whether it is a fixed venue or a temporary event site. Moreover, it can be used repeatedly and has the characteristic of being combinable, allowing for flexible matching and expansion according to actual needs. At the same time, its convenient transportation makes it highly adaptable to various scenarios.

III. Classification According to the structural form, it can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type is more complex and may have more functions and better stability. According to the moving method, it can be divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Different moving methods are suitable for different transportation conditions and site environments. According to the sewage treatment method, it can be divided into water-flushing and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. The water-flushing type has a better cleaning effect but requires a certain amount of water resources; the waterless suction type does not require water and treats excreta by suction; the circulating water-flushing type can realize the recycling of water resources; and the dry-packing type packs the excreta for treatment.

IV. Special Types There are also lightweight plastic mobile toilets. The 2026 new model features a lightweight design, uses identification signs for easy recognition, has a ventilation design to keep the interior air fresh, is equipped with a large-capacity clean water tank to meet flushing needs, has a gravity-flushing sewage tank with a foot pump for easy operation, and an exhaust pipe that can effectively remove odors, enhancing the user experience.
