Portable Mobile Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

A portable mobile toilet is a movable facility designed to meet the toilet service needs of the public and customers at fixed or temporary locations.

I. Basic Definition and Characteristics A portable mobile toilet can be moved as a whole and transported to any location where a toilet is needed, and it can be used repeatedly. It has significant advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation, greatly enhancing the flexibility and convenience of toilet use, especially suitable for temporary event venues, remote areas, or places lacking fixed toilet facilities.

II. Composition and Structure Mobile toilets are generally composed of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat fecal sewage; the floor provides a stable standing and activity space; sanitary fixtures such as toilets and squat pans meet basic toilet needs; walls serve as enclosures and partitions to protect user privacy; washing facilities such as sinks facilitate user cleaning; water tanks provide water for flushing and other operations; the roof protects against wind and rain; and the mobile device enables easy movement and transportation of the toilet.

III. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple parts and have more complex and diverse functions.
  2. By mobility method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which usually require lifting equipment or manual handling for movement; and powered and towed-type mobile toilets, which can be moved by power drive or towed by other vehicles, making movement more convenient.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction-type mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets use water for flushing, while waterless-flush suction-type toilets treat feces by suction; recirculating water-flush mobile toilets can recycle flushing water to save water resources; and dry-packing mobile toilets pack feces dry for easy subsequent cleaning and transportation.

IV. Special Types The towed and trailer-mounted mobile environmental protection smart public toilet can be towed anywhere, offering high flexibility; the portable toilet Car Pool, made by a foreign young man using plastic pipes, is specially designed for men. It is made of collapsible soft plastic pipes with openings at both ends. The front pointed end can be inserted into a beverage bottle, and there is soft plastic at the connection to secure the bottle opening and prevent urine leakage.
