Service Life of Plastic Mobile Toilets
The service life of plastic mobile toilets typically ranges from 5 to 15 years, depending on factors such as materials, craftsmanship, and usage environment.

In terms of material types, ordinary plastic mobile toilets are mostly made of conventional plastic materials, with a general service life of 8 to 10 years. These toilets are easy to install and highly mobile, enabling them to quickly meet temporary or short-term usage needs. However, ordinary plastics are prone to aging when exposed to wind and sun over a long period, causing the material to become brittle and thereby affecting the overall structural stability and service life of the toilet.
If imported high-density polyethylene materials are used for production, and the base, water tank, and toilet roof are formed into one piece using rotational molding technology, the service life of plastic mobile toilets can be significantly extended. This combination of craftsmanship and materials makes the toilet structure more robust and durable, greatly enhancing its anti-aging performance. Under normal usage conditions, it can last for more than 15 years. The one-piece design reduces the connection gaps between components, lowering the risk of a shortened service life due to component loosening or damage.
Additionally, there is a view that the service life of plastic materials (such as polyethylene) is usually 5–8 years. This may be due to differences in climate conditions, usage frequency, and maintenance practices across different regions. In areas with harsh climates, high usage frequency, and a lack of regular maintenance, the aging speed of plastic mobile toilets will accelerate, and their service life may be shortened to 5–8 years.
Numerous factors affect the service life of plastic mobile toilets: In addition to materials and craftsmanship, factors such as temperature, humidity, and ultraviolet intensity in the usage environment can also have varying degrees of impact on plastic materials. Meanwhile, regular maintenance, such as cleaning, checking for loose components, and promptly repairing damaged parts, can also effectively extend the service life of the toilet.
