There are mainly two types of manufacturing methods for outdoor mobile toilets: self-modification and professional manufacturing.

Self-Modification Manufacturing

• Modification using a water storage barrel: Some young people modify a water storage barrel. First, they use an angle grinder to split the barrel open and fix universal wheels at the bottom for easy mobility. Then, they use wooden strips and plastic soft boards to build the walls and roof, creating a basic framework for the toilet. After that, they install facilities such as a toilet bowl, water tank, showerhead, and washbasin, and connect the drainage pipes to finally form a movable restroom. This method has relatively low costs but requires certain hands-on skills and tools. Moreover, the modified toilet may have limitations in terms of aesthetics and durability.
• Modification using a water storage tank: Others use a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station for manufacturing. First, they fix universal wheels at the bottom of a拖板 (trailer board) and place the water storage tank on it. Then, they cut the tank to form an open tank body, stack and fix two tank bodies to increase space, and cut out a doorway. After that, they install facilities such as a toilet bowl, faucet, washbasin, and showerhead, and make a door to complete the manufacturing of a movable restroom. This method also has low costs but requires relatively high skills from the modifier. Additionally, the material and source of the water storage tank may affect the quality and service life of the toilet.

Professional Manufacturing

• Various types of products: Professional mobile toilet manufacturers in the market offer various types of outdoor mobile toilets. For example, metal-carved panel mobile toilets have an aesthetically pleasing appearance and certain thermal insulation properties; scenic area eco-friendly public outdoor restrooms focus on environmental protection and integration with the scenic area environment; high-end finished water-flushing direct-discharge mobile public toilets have relatively complete functions and a good user experience.
• Prefabricated structure: Prefabricated mobile toilets are also a type provided by manufacturers of scenic area restrooms, and their main structures may use square steel structures, etc. This structure has advantages such as quick installation and reusability, making it suitable for use in temporary event venues or scenarios where toilets need to be quickly set up. The prices of mobile toilets with different configurations also vary, and they can be selected according to actual needs.
