Dimensions of Outdoor Mobile Toilets

Admin October 10, 2026

The dimensions of outdoor mobile toilets vary depending on their type and usage scenarios. Here are the common types and their size ranges:

Single-Person Mobile Toilets
The standard model typically measures 110cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height. It has a compact interior space suitable for single-person use and is commonly found in ordinary parks, temporary construction sites, and small event venues. Its design focuses on basic functions to meet daily restroom needs. The mini single-person model is even smaller, measuring 100cm in length, 100cm in width, and 220cm in height. It is often used in crowded areas such as small exhibitions and commercial streets, improving space utilization by reducing volume. However, its interior height may limit the comfort of tall users. It should be noted that some single-person models have an interior height of only 1.6 meters, requiring tall individuals to lower their heads when entering.

Double-Person Mobile Toilets
These toilets usually measure 180cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, allowing two people to use them simultaneously. They are suitable for team-building venues, outdoor camping areas, and other scenarios requiring simultaneous restroom use by multiple people. The width is designed to accommodate two toilet stalls evenly, ensuring usage efficiency. Some sources mention a width of 1.8 meters for double-person models, which may be due to structural optimization or additional features (such as independent stalls), but the core function remains simultaneous use by two people.

Barrier-Free Mobile Toilets
These toilets are larger, typically measuring 180cm in length, 150cm in width, and 240cm in height. They reserve space for wheelchair rotation, facilitating use by individuals with mobility impairments. Their design must comply with barrier-free standards, such as door width and interior passage width, and they are commonly found in large parks and scenic area entrances. Increasing the height to 2.4 meters enhances interior space transparency and avoids a sense of confinement.

Dimensions for Public Area Facilities
The width of the walkway for opening doors inside and outside mobile public restrooms is generally 1.5 meters, with a minimum of no less than 1.3 meters, to ensure personnel passage and emergency evacuation needs. The width of the walkway for double-row toilet stalls' exterior doors should be between 1.50 and 2.10 meters, with the specific size determined based on the number of toilet stalls, layout method, and pedestrian traffic to avoid congestion.

The size design of different types of mobile toilets must balance functional requirements, space utilization, and user comfort. In practical applications, appropriate specifications can be selected based on specific scenarios and user groups.
