Outdoor Mobile Toilet Dimensions

Admin September 22, 2026

The dimensions of outdoor mobile toilets vary depending on the type and requirements. Common types and their dimension ranges are as follows:

Single-person mobile toilets are the most widely used models on the market, with their dimensions designed to balance user comfort and space utilization. The external dimensions of a regular single-person mobile toilet are typically 110 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, suitable for most public places. For space-constrained scenarios (such as temporary events or narrow streets), the mini single-person model can be reduced to 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 220 cm in height. If considering independent single-pit mobile public toilets as a standard, their external dimension ranges are broader: lengths typically range from 1.2 meters to 1.5 meters, widths from 1.0 meter to 1.2 meters, and heights from 2.2 meters to 2.5 meters. These dimensions are designed to meet basic usage needs while ensuring space for equipment installation and maintenance.

Double-person mobile toilets enhance usage efficiency by adding more pits, requiring dimensions that can accommodate two independent toilet compartments and related facilities. The external dimensions of a typical double-person mobile toilet are 180 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, suitable for areas with high foot traffic. If it is a two-pit unit (i.e., a combination of two independent toilet compartments), the length may extend to 2.4 meters to 3.0 meters, while the width remains between 1.0 meter and 1.2 meters. Such designs need to balance space utilization with user privacy protection to avoid a decline in user experience due to insufficient dimensions.

Barrier-free mobile toilets are specifically designed for special groups such as the disabled and the elderly, requiring stricter space standards. Their external dimensions are typically 180 cm in length, 150 cm in width, and 240 cm in height, with an internal clear width of at least 1.5 meters and a clear depth of at least 1.8 meters. These dimensions are designed to ensure wheelchair turning space, the installation position of handrails, and the operability of emergency call devices, in compliance with barrier-free design specifications.

Large mobile toilets are mostly used in long-term fixed locations (such as scenic spots and construction sites), with dimensions that can be flexibly adjusted according to needs. The length can exceed 6 meters, and the width can exceed 2.5 meters, potentially including multiple male and female toilet compartments, barrier-free toilets, and a management room inside. For example, a certain prefabricated mobile toilet has dimensions of 2.5 meters by 6.5 meters, divided into three independent toilet compartments, combining functionality and practicality. Such designs need to comprehensively consider the layout of drainage systems, ventilation equipment, and power supply to ensure long-term stability of use.
