Outdoor Mobile Public Toilet
An outdoor mobile public toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public.

I. Basic Components Mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Initially, they were mostly made of wood, but later gradually developed to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene. These materials have characteristics such as corrosion resistance and light weight, making them more suitable for the needs of mobile toilets.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: They are divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for limited spaces or temporary needs; composite-structure toilets have more complete functions and can meet diverse usage scenarios.
- By mobility method: They include lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, powered and towed-type mobile toilets. Lifting-type toilets rely on lifting equipment and are suitable for repeated use at fixed locations; powered-type toilets have built-in mobile devices and can move autonomously; towed-type toilets are pulled by vehicles and offer high flexibility.
- By sewage treatment method: They are classified into water-flush and waterless-suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types require a water connection and have high cleanliness; waterless-suction types use vacuum pumps to suck up feces and are suitable for water-scarce areas; circulating water-flush types reuse water resources through filtration systems; dry-packing types collect feces in biodegradable bags and do not require sewage pipes.
III. Core Features Mobile toilets have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They can be quickly deployed to places such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, and large construction sites, especially suitable for temporary events or densely populated areas. Their modular design supports rapid assembly and disassembly, and some models can be completed within 7-10 days. After arrival, they can be used once connected to water and electricity.
IV. Material Selection Common materials include steel structures, aluminum-plastic panels, color-coated steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, metal, and galvanized sheets. For example, galvanized steel frame structures are extremely durable, with a service life of up to 15 years or more; aluminum-plastic panels are lightweight and corrosion-resistant; color-coated steel combines strength and aesthetics. Some specially designed toilets use orange brick-patterned exterior wall panels or warm-toned designs, balancing practicality and visual appeal.
