In 2026, the newly started construction area of assembled buildings in Ningxia reached 4.87 million square meters, accounting for 36.2% of newly built structures, with a year-on-year growth rate exceeding 18% for three consecutive years. Yinchuan, Shizuishan, and Wuzhong have explicitly required that the assembly rate of government-invested projects such as affordable housing, schools, and hospitals should not be less than 50%, and some key industrial park projects are also included in the mandatory application scope. Prefabricated integrated houses adopt a factory-standardized production and on-site rapid assembly steel or light steel structure building system, featuring modular design, short construction periods, strong earthquake resistance, energy conservation, and environmental protection. They generally use BIM technology for design optimization. Integrated houses, through a factory-prefabricated + on-site assembly model, break down the house into modules, significantly shortening the construction period. Their thermal insulation performance is more than 30% better than that of traditional brick-concrete structures, and the material recycling rate exceeds 85%.

Application Areas: Prefabricated integrated houses are widely used in ecological immigration resettlement, tourist homestays, agricultural facility support, and emergency temporary buildings. Integrated houses are widely applied in rural dilapidated house renovations, tourist homestays, temporary resettlement sites, and even have successful cases in supporting buildings for photovoltaic power stations and desert governance demonstration projects.

Enterprises and Production Capacity: Ningxia has certain-scale enterprises producing prefabricated integrated houses, such as Ningxia Construction Engineering Group New Building Materials Company and Ningxia Ningjian Steel Structure Co., Ltd. These companies have complete production lines and technological research and development capabilities, with an annual production capacity of tens of thousands of square meters, covering low-rise residential buildings, public buildings, and industrial plants.
