New Type Container House Specifications

Admin September 15, 2026

The specifications of new-type container houses are mainly divided into two categories: standard sizes and non-standard sizes, with specific dimensions varying according to usage and design requirements.

Standard-sized Container Houses:

  • 20-foot Container: Approximately 6 meters in length, 2.4 to 3 meters in width, and 2.6 to 2.8 meters in height. This size of container house is suitable for temporary housing, offices, exhibition halls, and other scenarios, featuring standardized design for easy transportation and installation.
  • 40-foot Container: Approximately 12 meters in length, with similar width and height to the 20-foot container. The 40-foot container house offers more space, suitable for scenarios requiring larger activity areas, such as large construction site temporary buildings and temporary medical stations.

Non-standard-sized Container Houses:

  • Small Container House: For example, a specification of 3 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 9 square meters, suitable for scenarios with smaller space requirements, such as single-person temporary housing or small storage rooms.
  • Medium Container House: For example, a specification of 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 18 square meters, a common standard size on the market, widely used in construction sites, road construction, and other scenarios.
  • Large or Custom Container House: According to customer needs, dimensions can be flexibly adjusted, such as a specification of 7 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.8 meters in height, with an area of 21 square meters, often used as a two-story container mobile home with corridors and balconies. Additionally, there are more custom sizes, such as 3m3m, 3m8m, 3m*9m, etc., to meet personalized needs.

Special-purpose Container Houses:

  • Maritime Container Modification: Maritime containers come in various sizes, such as 5.69m2.13m, 11.8m2.13m, 13.58m*2.34m, etc. After modification, these containers can be used in ports, park attractions, and other scenarios to meet specific needs.
  • Modular Container Buildings: Through the combination and assembly design of container bodies, a wider variety of buildings can be created, such as large-span sports buildings and large-scale combined buildings composed of hundreds of containers, expanding the range of spatial adaptability.
