Production of Public Mobile Toilets in Inner Mongolia

Admin October 08, 2026

The production of public mobile toilets in Inner Mongolia requires a combination of technical routes, material selection, structural design, and on-site adaptability. Taking Baotou as an example, its core processes include the integration of excreta treatment systems, modular production, and measures for special environments.

Technical Routes for Excreta Treatment Systems

The excreta treatment systems for mobile public toilets in Baotou are divided into three technical routes:

  1. Water-flushing Type: By integrating water tanks and sewage tanks, high-pressure pneumatic or electric water pumps are used to reduce the amount of water used per flush. It is necessary to precisely calculate the balance between tank volume and usage frequency to extend the service cycle.
  2. Foam Sealing Type: Relying on foam generators and liquid level control systems, a special foam layer is applied to the surface of the toilet to isolate odors and reduce water consumption. It is necessary to solve the problem of excessive viscosity of the foam liquid at low winter temperatures, which can cause pumping issues, ensuring stable operation in environments as cold as minus 30 degrees Celsius.
  3. Microbial Degradation Type: Microorganisms in bioreactors decompose excreta, generating water vapor, carbon dioxide, and inorganic salt residues. Heating devices (maintaining a temperature of 20-35°C) and stirring systems are required to ensure microbial activity, along with continuous power supply and professional maintenance.

Wall Structure and Ventilation System

  1. Wall Materials: Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) or stainless steel are commonly used. FRP molds quickly, is lightweight, and has good thermal insulation properties, making it suitable for standardized production. Stainless steel has high strength and strong corrosion resistance, making it suitable for public environments or scenarios where chemical disinfectants are frequently used. Manufacturers need to weigh costs, lifespan, and transportation expenses.
  2. Ventilation and Deodorization: A combination of top exhaust and bottom intake is used to create directional airflow, which is treated and discharged through activated carbon filtration or ultraviolet light deodorization equipment. Parameters for exhaust fans (static pressure, air volume) and filter replacement cycles need to be clearly indicated.

Structural Self-Supporting and On-Site Adaptability

  1. Self-Supporting System: Physical stability is achieved through cold-formed steel frames, with nodes connected by bolts (avoiding a decrease in welding strength), and the exterior is wrapped with FRP or galvanized steel sheets.
  2. Environmental Adaptability: For wind and sand and temperature differences, wind fixation is achieved through anchor bolts or weighted bases. Polyurethane insulation layers are laid between frames and panels, and rubber gaskets are used to interrupt heat transfer, solving the problem of thermal bridge effects.

Modular Production Process

Components are prefabricated in factories (frame welding, panel cutting, pipe embedding, etc.), with module dimensions limited by road transportation (width ≤ 2.5 meters, length ≤ 6 meters, height ≤ 3.2 meters). On-site, water and electricity pipelines are connected through quick connectors, and module assembly, foundation fixation, and system debugging are completed in no more than 4 hours.
