Nanzhao prefabricated houses mainly include two major types: cement houses and light steel houses, each with its unique characteristics and applicable scenarios.

Cement Houses

The cement houses in Nanzhao encompass various types such as integrated cement houses, container movable houses, and cement movable houses. These cement houses have the significant advantage of good integrity, and some products can achieve rapid construction, greatly shortening the construction cycle. In terms of application scenarios, cement houses are widely used, suitable for office buildings, staff canteens, dormitory buildings, and other places. For example, in some temporary construction demand scenarios, such as the construction of temporary office areas on construction sites, cement houses can quickly provide stable working spaces for staff with their characteristics of rapid construction and good integrity; in the construction of staff canteens and dormitory buildings, cement houses can also meet basic living and dining needs, providing a relatively comfortable environment for personnel.

Light Steel Houses

The light steel houses in Nanzhao have unique characteristics in their construction. The wall construction, from inside to outside, consists of interior wall gypsum boards, light steel studs (containing noise reduction and insulation materials inside), breathable membranes, nano-microcrystalline foamed insulation boards, and exterior wall decorative panels. This construction ensures that the houses have various excellent properties, such as fire resistance, moisture resistance, thermal insulation, burglar resistance, and sound insulation. In terms of construction methods, all structural components of light steel villas are prefabricated in the factory and then transported to the construction site for assembly. This construction method results in a short construction period, high efficiency, and the use of dry construction methods, which are environmentally friendly and reduce environmental pollution. In terms of lifespan, the main structure of light steel houses has a conservative estimated lifespan of about 50 years, with a test lifespan of up to 75 years or more, indicating a long service life; however, the lifespan of the exterior wall decorative layer is about 30 years, and if tiles are applied, maintenance may be required after about 10 years when they start to fall off. Light steel houses are suitable for scenarios where there are certain requirements for living quality and a desire for a short construction period and environmentally friendly and energy-saving construction, such as the construction of some rural villas and vacation cottages.
