Nanjing Environmental Protection Mobile Toilet Materials

Admin October 01, 2026

The main materials of Nanjing's environmental protection mobile toilets include steel structural main frames, various exterior wall materials, thermal insulation materials, anti-slip floors, and aluminum alloy doors and windows, among others. In the early days, materials such as wood and fiberglass-reinforced plastic were also used, and there are special cases of high-end decoration using marble-patterned wall panels.

In terms of materials, Nanjing's environmental protection mobile toilets generally use steel structures as the main frames. This structure has the characteristics of high strength and good stability, providing solid support for the toilets and ensuring their safety during use. The choice of exterior wall materials is diverse, including galvanized steel sheets, stainless steel sheets, aluminum sheets, or metal carved panels. Galvanized steel sheets have good corrosion resistance and can withstand external environmental erosion to a certain extent; stainless steel sheets are favored for their high strength and aesthetically pleasing appearance; aluminum sheets are lightweight, facilitating installation and transportation; metal carved panels not only possess the sturdiness of metal but also feature various beautiful patterns through carving techniques, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the toilets.

For internal thermal insulation, rock wool or polyurethane are commonly used. Rock wool is a high-quality insulation material with good thermal insulation and fire resistance properties, effectively maintaining a stable temperature inside the toilets and reducing energy consumption; polyurethane also offers excellent thermal insulation and is lightweight, making installation easy.

The floors are usually laid with anti-slip materials and paired with waterproof layers. Anti-slip floors increase friction to prevent users from slipping inside the toilets, ensuring safety; waterproof layers prevent water seepage on the floors, avoiding damage and unpleasant odors caused by water accumulation.

Doors and windows are mostly made of aluminum alloy profiles with insulated tempered glass. Aluminum alloy profiles have advantages such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight; insulated tempered glass offers good sound insulation, thermal insulation, and safety, providing a good user environment for the toilets.

Additionally, mobile toilets were initially manufactured using materials such as wood and later evolved to use fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic is lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant, while polyethylene has good flexibility and water resistance. There are also cases of high-end decoration using marble-patterned wall panels, which make the interior of the toilets more aesthetically pleasing and enhance the user experience.
