Nan'an Smart Mobile Toilet

There are examples of smart mobile toilets in Nan'an District, including both fixed smart public toilets and mobile toilet rental services, but it is unclear whether all rented toilets are equipped with smart functions.

Fixed Smart Public Toilets: The public toilet on Yanyu Road in Nan'an District is the first "tide public toilet" in Chongqing and falls under the category of smart mobile toilets. It integrates multiple smart functions. Through IoT devices, it can display real-time air quality indicators and available toilet stall data, allowing users to understand the internal environment and stall usage in advance, facilitating quick identification of available stalls and improving usage efficiency. Additionally, it is equipped with human body detection sensors and centrifugal silent exhaust fans. When someone enters the toilet, the human body detection sensor detects their presence, and the centrifugal silent exhaust fan automatically activates to handle odors automatically, maintaining fresh air inside the toilet. In terms of water conservation, it uses electromagnetic induction valves to control flushing, which is more energy-efficient than traditional flushing methods and effectively saves water resources. Furthermore, it has added five tide toilet stalls that can be flexibly switched based on the usage needs of men and women. During peak hours, stall allocation can be adjusted flexibly according to the number of men and women using the toilets, alleviating toilet pressure.

Mobile Toilet Rental Services: Nan'an District offers mobile toilet rental services, with these mobile toilets being widely used in scenarios such as marathons, concerts, and music festivals. However, there is currently no clear information indicating that all rented mobile toilets are equipped with smart functions. Although some fixed smart public toilets demonstrate advanced smart technologies, mobile toilets may differ in functional configurations due to factors such as usage scenarios and costs. It cannot be simply assumed that all rented mobile toilets have multiple smart functions like the Yanyu Road public toilet.
