Movable Toilet Specifications and Dimensions

Admin September 27, 2026

The specifications and dimensions of movable toilets vary depending on the type. Common types include single-unit, double-unit, multifunctional, and accessible movable toilets, with their dimensions designed to balance functional requirements and ergonomic standards.

Single-unit movable toilets have a flexible size range. The length is typically 1.1-1.5 meters, with the regular model measuring 110cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, and the mini model reduced to 100cm in length, 100cm in width, and 220cm in height. The width ranges from 1.0-1.2 meters, and the height is mainly 2.2-2.5 meters. These toilets are suitable for construction sites, small events, and regular parks where space is limited or pedestrian traffic is low, as their compact design allows for efficient use of site resources.

Double-unit movable toilets have significantly larger dimensions, with lengths reaching 2.4-3.0 meters (some models are 180cm), widths of 1.2-1.5 meters, and heights consistent with single-unit models (2.2-2.5 meters). Their interior space can accommodate two independent toilet compartments or a combination of toilet compartments and sinks, making them suitable for large events and tourist attractions where rapid pedestrian flow is required, effectively reducing queue times.

Multifunctional movable toilets are designed for high-end needs, with lengths extending to 3.0-4.5 meters, widths of 2.0-2.5 meters, and heights of 2.5-3.0 meters. These toilets are typically equipped with independent toilet compartments, sinks, storage rooms, and even air conditioning systems, making them suitable for long-term use in fixed locations (such as high-end exhibitions and commercial complexes) or scenarios with stringent hygiene requirements. Their large dimensions accommodate diverse functional integrations.

Accessible movable toilets must meet the usage standards for special populations, with common dimensions of 180cm in length, 150cm in width, and 240cm in height. They include reserved wheelchair turning space (with a diameter of no less than 1.5 meters) and are equipped with handrails, low-position sinks, and other assistive facilities. These toilets are primarily deployed in public areas such as large parks and scenic spot entrances to reflect humanistic care and accessible design principles.

When designing movable toilets, strict adherence to ergonomic principles is essential: the toilet compartment width should be no less than 0.9 meters, and the sink height is recommended to be 0.8-0.9 meters. Lightweight and high-strength composite materials (such as fiberglass) should be used to reduce transportation costs. The bottom should be designed with a drainage system, and the walls should use waterproof materials (such as PVC panels) to ensure moisture resistance. Additionally, the industry standard Urban Public Toilet Design Standard (CJJ 14-2016) specifies parameters for dimensions, ventilation, and lighting, with some regions requiring additional energy-saving and environmentally friendly features (such as solar power and wastewater recycling) for movable toilets.
