Movable Toilet Dimensions
Admin September 21, 2026
The dimensions of movable toilets vary significantly depending on their type and usage scenarios. Common specifications are as follows:

1. Categorized by functional type
- Single-person standard type: Compact interior space that meets basic usage needs. Typically, the length is 1.2-1.5 meters, the width is 0.8-1.0 meters, and the height is 2.2-2.4 meters. This type of toilet is suitable for temporary venues with low foot traffic, such as small event sites or construction sites.
- Double-person standard type: Improves usage efficiency by expanding the horizontal space. The length is 1.8-2.2 meters, the width is 1.0-1.2 meters, and the height is the same as that of the single-person type. It is commonly found in scenic spots, parks, and other scenarios that require rapid crowd dispersion.
- Barrier-free type: Specifically designed for people with disabilities, it must meet the requirements for wheelchair rotation. The length is 2.0-2.4 meters, the width is 1.2-1.5 meters, and the height is 2.2-2.4 meters. Inside, there must be a reserved wheelchair rotation space with a diameter of at least 1.5 meters, equipped with handrails, low-level washbasins, and other facilities.
- Luxury type: Focuses on comfort and functionality, with the largest dimensions. The length is 2.5-3.0 meters, the width is 1.5-2.0 meters, and the height is 2.4-2.6 meters. Inside, it may include independent washbasins, makeup mirrors, air conditioners, and other equipment, suitable for high-end events or long-term fixed usage scenarios.
2. Categorized by structural type
- Prefabricated movable toilet: Adopts a modular design for easy and quick assembly and disassembly. A typical dimension is 2.5 meters × 6.5 meters, which can accommodate multiple independent toilet stalls or comprehensive functional areas (such as management rooms and tool rooms), suitable for large-scale events or temporary communities.
- Container movable toilet: Uses standard containers as carriers, with high space utilization. It is 6.5 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and 3.1 meters high. Inside, it can be divided into multiple toilet stalls or equipped with barrier-free facilities, suitable for long-term deployment at construction sites, disaster areas, and other scenarios.
3. Core principles for dimension selection
- Usage scenario: For temporary events, single-person or double-person types are preferred; for long-term deployment, prefabricated or container types can be considered.
- Foot traffic: High-density areas need to increase the number of toilet stalls or choose double-person types to improve efficiency.
- Special needs: Barrier-free design must strictly adhere to space standards, and luxury types need to reserve space for equipment installation.
The dimension design of movable toilets needs to balance functionality and cost-effectiveness. When making an actual selection, a comprehensive evaluation should be carried out based on specific needs and site conditions.
