Modern Simple Mobile Indoor Toilet

Admin September 28, 2026

The modern simple mobile indoor toilet is a public sanitation facility that enables rapid deployment and low-cost maintenance through modular design and smart technology, suitable for temporary or long-term use in high-traffic areas.

Structural Modules and Waterless Flushing System

The main body of the mobile toilet is integrally molded using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or reinforced polypropylene (PP), with an individual volume of approximately 1.2 to 1.8 cubic meters and a weight of 80 to 120 kilograms, facilitating easy lifting or trailer transportation. Its core advantage lies in no need for on-site civil construction: pipe interfaces and ventilation channels are pre-reserved within the walls, allowing direct connection to municipal sewage systems or self-circulating systems. Waterless flushing technology is its key innovation, utilizing vacuum negative pressure suction (generated by a turbine or piston pump with a negative pressure of 0.3 to 0.6 standard atmospheres) to consume only 0.5 to 1.5 liters of liquid per flush (compared to about 6 liters for household toilets). The liquid medium is mostly a treatment solution with added biological enzyme preparations that decompose organic matter in excreta and suppress odors. If connected to a self-circulating system, the liquid can be reused 5 to 7 times after sedimentation, filtration, and ultraviolet disinfection, ultimately being removed as solid waste, significantly reducing water consumption.

Smart Sensing and Maintenance Logic

Each independent unit is equipped with infrared or capacitive sensors that continuously monitor usage frequency, liquid level height (with a threshold typically set at 80%), and ammonia concentration (triggering an alarm if it exceeds 3 ppm). Data is uploaded to a cloud management platform via 4G or LoRa wireless networks, where the system automatically analyzes it and sends cleaning instructions, planning the optimal removal route. For example, during large events, if the number of uses exceeds 50 within 30 minutes, the system enhances liquid level monitoring accuracy to prevent overflow. In terms of power supply, some models use a combination of photovoltaic panels and batteries, enabling continuous operation of sensors and vacuum pumps for 12 to 18 hours daily, reducing reliance on external power sources.

Urban Space Adaptation Solutions

Site selection should avoid areas with dense underground pipelines (confirmed through ground-penetrating radar or construction drawings) and ensure a ground slope of less than 3 degrees to prevent sewage backflow. Fixing methods include expansion bolts or counterweight water tanks, capable of withstanding wind forces up to Level 6. In transportation hubs or emergency shelters, a "cluster" layout is often adopted: 3 to 8 units are connected via quick-install pipes to a single sewage tank, with a central ventilation tower utilizing wind pressure differentials to expel odors. Such systems can serve 300 to 800 people daily, with a removal cycle of 2 to 4 days. Maintenance personnel only need to replace biological enzyme agents and empty solid waste residues, without direct contact with sewage pipes, enhancing operational safety and efficiency.
