Mobile Toilet Without Flushing Sewage
Mobile toilets without flushing sewage do exist. These toilets are known as waterless sanitary toilets, which use physical, biological, or chemical technologies to replace the water-flushing function for waste treatment. Here are some common types of non-flushing sewage treatment technologies:

Mechanical Packaging Type: This technology uses specially made biodegradable plastic bags to wrap the squatting position. After the user finishes defecating, the mechanical device automatically tightens and seals the plastic bag, forming an independent waste bag. The sealed waste bag falls into the fecal storage tank and is regularly transported and disposed of by dedicated personnel. This method avoids contact between waste and the outside environment, reduces the spread of odors and pathogens, and the plastic bags are biodegradable, making them environmentally friendly.
Microbial Degradation Type: A degradation chamber filled with microbial carriers is set up below the squatting position. Microorganisms decompose organic matter through aerobic fermentation. The high temperatures generated during decomposition can kill pathogens, ensuring the safety and hygiene of the treatment process. Some eco-friendly toilets adopt this technology and are also equipped with biochemical reactors. The reactors contain biological fillers that can be regularly replenished. Feces are degraded and fermented by microorganisms to produce humic organic fertilizer, while urine is treated and used as liquid fertilizer, achieving resource recycling.
Foam Sealing Type: An air pump mixes air with foaming liquid to form a layer of fine foam on the surface of the squat toilet. Excrement slides into the pipe below after falling, and a single foaming process consumes only about 0.1 liters of liquid. This technology can achieve a water-saving rate of over 90%, effectively reducing water resource waste.
Vacuum Adsorption Type: A vacuum pump is used to create a negative pressure environment in the pipe, instantly sucking waste into the main pipe for transport to the treatment tank. The vacuum self-priming type in water-saving eco-toilets relies on the air pressure difference between the toilet and the sewage pipe system to allow fecal sewage to enter the storage or treatment device, with a water consumption of only 0.5 to 1 liter, also achieving significant water-saving effects.
Chemical Agent Type: Chemical agents are added to the fecal storage tank to decompose excrement and inhibit odors and bacterial growth through chemical reactions. This method is simple and easy to implement, but attention must be paid to the selection and dosage of chemical agents to avoid environmental pollution.
Waterless Packaging Eco-Toilet: The core consists of packaging bags made of biodegradable film, mechanical devices, and fecal storage buckets. A traction device automatically starts to package and seal excrement, preventing odor leakage without the need for any water source or water supply and drainage pipes, making it suitable for various scenarios with water shortages or where water sources cannot be accessed.
Waterless Flushable Eco-Toilet: A urine-feces separator is used to separate urine, which is collected and treated with special agents to form an odorless light blue liquid as the flushing liquid. Feces are mixed with the flushing liquid and treated to become an odorless pulp-like fluid, achieving a waterless flushing effect.
