White Foam in Mobile Toilets

Admin October 05, 2026

The white foam in mobile toilets is a core application of foam sealing technology. It is formed by activating a mixture of foaming agent and water with compressed air through a foaming device, offering multiple functions such as physical sealing, water conservation, and visual cleanliness.

Physical Sealing and Odor Control

The white foam forms a sealing layer approximately 5 centimeters thick inside the toilet bowl, completely covering the drainage outlet and creating a physical barrier that effectively blocks the spread of odors. Working in conjunction with the counterweight baffle at the drainage outlet and microbial decomposition in the fecal storage tank, it can reduce ammonia concentration to below 0.1 ppm, meeting indoor air quality standards. This feature is particularly suitable for mobile toilet scenarios with poor ventilation or enclosed spaces, ensuring no odor leakage during use.

Water Conservation and Lubricating Flushing

Foam sealing technology significantly reduces water consumption: a single flush requires only 0.04 liters of water, compared to 6-9 liters in traditional toilets, achieving a water-saving rate of up to 98%. The lubricating components in the foam wrap around waste, allowing it to slide smoothly into the collection tank, reducing adhesion to the toilet bowl walls and eliminating the need for secondary flushing. This design not only conserves water resources but also reduces sewage discharge, meeting environmental protection requirements.

Visual Cleanliness and Status Indication

The white foam completely covers waste, providing a 'visual closure' effect that allows users to avoid direct exposure to waste, enhancing the user experience. Additionally, the presence of foam serves as an indicator of normal toilet operation: if the foam disappears or thins, it may signal insufficient foaming agent or system malfunction, enabling maintenance personnel to address issues promptly.

Environmental Protection and Adaptability

The foaming agent uses a biodegradable, environmentally friendly formula to avoid environmental pollution. The system is equipped with a water recycling function, achieving an overall water-saving rate of over 99% and further reducing water consumption. Moreover, its lightweight design enables it to adapt to extreme environments (e.g., temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C and altitudes up to 5,000 meters) and diverse scenarios (e.g., tourist attractions, construction sites, polar expeditions), demonstrating strong environmental adaptability.

Technical Principle

Stable foam generation relies on a patented U-shaped pipe liquid level balancing system, which automatically controls the mixing ratio of foaming agent and water and the injection volume of compressed air through infrared sensing or PLC intelligent systems, ensuring the continuous generation of uniform, fine foam 24 hours a day. This technology enables efficient, low-maintenance long-term operation and is a key support for the modernization of mobile toilets.
