Mobile Toilet Water Tank Installation Method

Admin October 03, 2026

The installation method for mobile toilet water tanks mainly refers to the installation steps for squat toilet flush tanks, as detailed below:

  1. Measure Dimensions and Select Model
Use a tape measure to determine the dimensions (length, width, height) of the old water tank and its installation height on the wall. Ensure the new water tank is similar or identical in size to the old one. For hidden water tanks in smart toilets, confirm that the installation space meets the requirements specified in the product manual to avoid installation issues due to size discrepancies.

  2. Check Component Completeness
After the new water tank arrives, verify the component list to ensure it includes core parts such as the drain pipe, water tank body, connecting cup, conical gasket, inlet valve, and outlet valve. Smart water tanks may come with additional components like mounting plates, fixing rods, and regulating valves, which should be checked one by one to avoid omissions.

  3. Assemble the Drain Pipe
Connect two straight pipes using threads or clamps, then attach a bend to form a complete drain pipe. If retaining the old drain pipe, skip this step; if replacing it with a new one, ensure the joint is sealed properly, wrapping with Teflon tape or using a specialized sealant if necessary.

  4. Install Valves

    • Ordinary Water Tank: Screw the outlet valve and inlet valve into their designated positions inside the water tank, ensuring the valves are oriented correctly (e.g., the inlet valve should face the water source), and secure the tank cover.
    • Smart Water Tank: First, install the inlet valve by inserting its head to the left, then turning it to the right, aligning it with the mounting plate slot, and lifting it until the inlet aligns. Tighten the nut counterclockwise to prevent leaks. For the outlet valve, insert the sleeve into the slot, rotate to secure it, then install the pressure rod, ensuring the pressure rod hole aligns with the outlet valve protrusion.
  5. Fix Hooks and Hang the Water Tank
Mark the hook installation hole positions on the wall, drill holes using an electric drill, insert expansion screws, and fix the hooks to the wall. Slide the back of the water tank onto the hooks, ensuring it is stable. For ordinary water tanks, place a conical rubber gasket on the connecting cup, insert it into the drain pipe, and tighten the bottom joint. For smart water tanks, securely fasten the outlet valve to the support rod, adjust the support position, and fix it.

  6. Connect Hoses and Test Water
Connect one end of the hose to the water tank inlet and the other end to the water source, ensuring a tight connection without looseness. Open the inlet valve, observe the water tank filling, and check for leaks at each joint. When testing the flush, observe whether the drainage is smooth and the valves reset properly. If leaks are found, recheck the sealing gaskets or valve installation.

Precautions:

  • Different models of water tanks may include special components (e.g., panels and regulating valves for smart water tanks), which should be operated strictly according to the manual.
  • Sealing components like rubber gaskets are prone to aging; ensure they are intact during installation to prevent leaks.
  • When debugging a smart water tank, check that the panel and support clips are aligned to prevent looseness.
