Mobile Toilet Water Storage Tank
Here's how to make a mobile toilet using a water storage tank:

Select the Right Water Storage Tank: The water storage tank is the core component. Choose a food-grade PE material tank to ensure it is non-toxic and durable, with a recommended capacity of 100L (such as brands like Chahua or Meiliya). For easy mobility, install universal wheels at the bottom of the tank, prioritizing models with brakes and a load-bearing capacity of over 50kg to ensure stability during movement. Drill two holes on the side of the tank: one for installing an outlet pipe (use a 2-分管 with a small faucet for easy water flow control) and another for an overflow pipe to prevent water overflow, which could damage the equipment or make the floor slippery.
Build the Core Framework: Use PVC pipes to create a square frame measuring 1.2m x 0.8m as the main structure of the toilet. Wrap the frame with waterproof Oxford cloth, which is waterproof and wear-resistant, effectively protecting the internal equipment and extending its lifespan. Leave a ventilation opening at the top to prevent odor buildup due to poor air circulation inside. Place a folding toilet on the water storage tank, preferably one equipped with biodegradable plastic bags (such as the Nature's Head portable model) for easy cleaning and eco-friendliness. Install a small sink next to the toilet, connecting it to the outlet pipe of the water storage tank via plumbing for simple handwashing.
Refine the Details: To enhance the user experience, install a float switch inside the water storage tank to automatically remind you to add water when the water level drops below a set point, preventing equipment damage from dry running. Place anti-slip mats at the bottom of the tank to prevent slipping or tipping during movement due to insufficient friction. Collect wastewater through pipes for flushing the toilet or watering plants, achieving resource recycling. If used in winter, wrap the water storage tank with thermal insulation cotton to prevent pipes from freezing and cracking due to low temperatures, ensuring normal use.
By following these steps, you can create a fully functional and mobile toilet suitable for outdoor activities, temporary venues, or space-constrained households.
