Mobile Toilet Water Inlet

Admin October 08, 2026

The location, connection method, and precautions for the water inlet of mobile toilets are as follows:

I. Water Inlet Location
The location of the water inlet for mobile toilets varies depending on the type. Conventional mobile restrooms typically have a small circular hole on the side wall as the water inlet. Plastic mobile toilets generally have two water inlets: one for the flush tank, used for toilet flushing, and the other for the sink, used for daily handwashing and cleaning. For water-flush mobile toilets, it is necessary to confirm the location of the water source in advance to ensure a stable water supply.

II. Connection Method

  1. Measurement and Material Selection: First, measure the distance from the water inlet to the water source and select an inlet pipe of matching length. The pipe material should be pressure-resistant and freeze-resistant, such as PPR pipes or galvanized steel pipes, to prevent cracking in winter.
  2. Pipe Installation: Insert the pipe into the water inlet and secure it tightly with pipe clamps to prevent loosening. Apply a sealing gasket around the water inlet to enhance sealing and prevent water leakage.
  3. Water Source Connection: Connect the other end of the pipe to the water source and tighten the connection with a wrench to ensure there are no gaps. If an external water tank is used, ensure that the tank capacity meets daily needs and regularly check its sealing.
  4. Valve Installation: Install a valve at the connection between the pipe and the water inlet for easy subsequent maintenance or water cutoff operations.

III. Connection Precautions

  1. Pipe Length Control: The length of the inlet pipe should be as close as possible to actual needs to avoid excessive length causing bending or damage, affecting water flow stability.
  2. Leakage Check: After connection, check the joints multiple times and observe for a period of time after turning on the water to confirm there is no leakage before putting it into use.
  3. Avoid Scratching the Pipe: Do not use hard or sharp tools during installation to prevent scratching the pipe surface and reducing its service life.
  4. Frost Layer Treatment: If the pipe is buried underground, ensure that the burial depth is below the local frost layer to prevent pipe rupture due to freezing in winter.
  5. Regular Maintenance: Regularly check the sealing of the water tank, the flexibility of the valve, and the aging of the pipe, and replace damaged parts in a timely manner.

IV. Overall Precautions for the Water Supply System
Water-flush mobile toilets rely on a stable water supply. Before installation, a comprehensive assessment of the water source location, water quality, and water pressure is required. If an external water tank is used, a cleaning port should be reserved to prevent impurities from clogging the pipes. After all connections are made, it is recommended to conduct a pressure test to ensure that the system's pressure-bearing capacity meets standards.
