Mobile Toilet Water Discharge

Admin September 20, 2026

There are mainly the following types of water discharge (sewage discharge) methods for mobile toilets:

Conventional water-flushing type is a relatively common method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes. The flushing action is triggered either manually or by an automatic sensing device. After the user finishes using the toilet, pressing the flush button or when the human body leaves the sensing area, water flows from the water tank and flushes the sewage into the septic tank or municipal sewage network. This method is similar to the flushing method of traditional fixed toilets, offering a good user experience. However, it requires well-established water pipe facilities and is suitable for places with a stable water supply and sewage discharge conditions, such as areas around large-scale events in cities with municipal sewage network coverage.

Vacuum sewage system utilizes the principle of negative pressure. It generates negative pressure through a vacuum pump to quickly suck sewage and waste into a collection container. This method is highly efficient and uses relatively little water. Due to the effect of negative pressure, sewage and waste can be quickly removed, reducing residues inside the toilet and lowering the possibility of odor generation. However, the equipment cost of the vacuum sewage system is relatively high, and professional maintenance personnel are required to ensure the normal operation of equipment such as the vacuum pump. It is generally suitable for places with high hygiene requirements, large passenger flows, and certain economic strength, such as high-end hotels and large airports.

Water-storage sewage system discharges waste into a storage tank through water flushing. When the sewage in the storage tank reaches a certain amount, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This method is suitable for places with an abundant water supply and where it is convenient to clean the storage tank, such as some suburban tourist attractions where natural water sources can replenish the storage water, and there is sufficient space and manpower to clean the storage tank.

Recirculating water-flushing type is equipped with a sewage treatment device and biological bacteria. It treats used sewage through a filtration device to remove impurities and harmful substances, and then further purifies the sewage using biological bacteria, enabling the treated water to be recycled for toilet flushing, greatly saving water resources. This sewage discharge method is suitable for use in areas with water scarcity or high environmental protection requirements, such as temporary construction sites in arid regions.

Dry-packing type has no flushing device. Feces are collected by recyclable plastic bags. After the user finishes using the toilet, the system automatically replaces the plastic bag with a new one, and the entire process requires no water. This method is very suitable for use in places with water shortages or where it is impossible to connect to water supply and drainage pipes, such as wilderness exploration campsites and temporary event venues in desert areas.
