Mobile Toilet Water and Electricity Configuration Plan
Admin October 08, 2026
The mobile toilet water and electricity configuration plan requires comprehensive consideration of power supply, drainage, shower connections, and safety precautions, as detailed below:

I. Power Supply Plan
The power supply for mobile toilets should be selected based on the usage scenario:
- Mains Power Connection: Preferably use 220V mains power, suitable for urban areas or regions with well-developed infrastructure. Ensure that the wiring complies with safety standards and install a leakage protection device.
- Solar Power Supply: Suitable for remote construction sites or scenarios without mains power access. Requires configuration of solar panels, batteries, and inverters to ensure basic lighting and ventilation equipment can operate during rainy weather.
II. Drainage System
Drainage design should balance environmental protection and practicality:
- Biodegradation System: Recommended to use clog-resistant biodegradable treatment devices that decompose excreta through microorganisms, reducing the frequency of pipeline cleaning and lowering maintenance costs.
- Water Storage Tank Configuration: In areas with a high risk of water supply interruption, additional water storage tanks (capacity determined by the number of users) can be installed, equipped with liquid level sensors to promptly remind of water replenishment and avoid equipment shutdown due to water shortage.
III. Shower Connection Plan
Select an appropriate plan based on water source conditions:
- Tap Water Connection: If there is a stable tap water supply on-site, shower equipment can be directly connected. Control the water flow pressure (recommended ≤0.3MPa) to avoid loose connections or leaks due to excessive pressure.
- Water Storage Bucket + Water Pump: When tap water is unavailable, water can be injected into a storage bucket and pressurized by a water pump for delivery to the shower. Select the water pump power based on the head (usually 0.5-1kW) and install a flow meter to prevent the pump from idling and burning out.
- Electric Water Heater: Suitable for mobile toilets with limited space. Choose an instantaneous or small-capacity storage-type electric water heater (power ≤3kW) and ensure good grounding. Control the water temperature between 40-45℃ to avoid scalding.
IV. Safety Precautions
- Water Pipe Sealing: Conduct a pressure test (usually 1.5 times the working pressure) before installation to check for leaks at the connections and avoid circuit short-circuits or slippery floors due to water leakage.
- Electrical Safety: All electrical equipment must comply with national standards (e.g., GB 4706.1). Electric water heaters must be equipped with a leakage protection switch, and the wiring should be regularly inspected for aging.
- Water Pump Maintenance: Avoid prolonged idling or overloading of the water pump. It is recommended to set a timed start-stop function and regularly clean the filter to prevent blockage by impurities.
- Water Level Monitoring: Ensure sufficient water in the storage tank through liquid level meters or manual inspections, especially during peak usage times, to increase inspection frequency and avoid usage disruptions due to water shortage.
By scientifically configuring the power supply, drainage, and shower connections, and strictly adhering to safety regulations, the practicality and reliability of mobile toilets can be significantly enhanced.
