Mobile Toilet Wastewater Treatment
There are various methods for treating mobile toilet wastewater, including flushing, vacuum suction, biodegradation, chemical treatment, and physical sedimentation. During treatment, attention should also be paid to regular cleaning, freeze protection, disinfection, ventilation, and sound insulation measures.

Flushing: This is the most common treatment method, where wastewater is discharged into municipal sewer networks or septic tanks through pipelines. The design of the sewage discharge system must comply with relevant national standards, such as the Urban Public Toilet Design Standard CJJ14 - 2016, to ensure smooth and environmentally friendly sewage discharge. During use, septic tanks should be cleaned regularly to prevent blockages and odors, and water conservation should be practiced to reduce water waste.
Vacuum Suction: In storage-type mobile toilets, the waste tank is usually located beneath the squat toilet. During treatment, the squat toilet can be directly lifted, and a suction truck can be inserted for suction; or, through a sewage discharge valve, the waste can be directly discharged in places with septic tanks. This method is flexible and convenient, suitable for various scenarios.
Biodegradation: This method utilizes microorganisms to decompose organic matter and is commonly found in integrated wastewater treatment equipment. For example, the MBR integrated equipment produced by Liaoning Yinuo Environmental Industry Group uses the A²O + MBR process, with a daily treatment capacity of up to 200m³, suitable for high-concentration wastewater, and is easy to operate. This method is environmentally friendly and efficient, reducing environmental pollution.
Chemical Treatment: Chemical agents (such as flocculants and disinfectants) are added to precipitate or decompose suspended solids and harmful substances in the wastewater. For example, the MBR membrane wastewater treatment equipment produced by Hubei Zhongyuan Lixin Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. uses a combination of chemical and biological methods to effectively remove organic matter and pathogens from the wastewater, with the effluent meeting direct discharge standards.
Physical Sedimentation: Such as inclined tube sedimentation tanks, the integrated flocculation sedimentation tank developed by Shandong Runzhu Environmental Protection Technology has a treatment capacity of up to 1000m³/d and a sedimentation time of 70 minutes, suitable for scenarios such as laundry wastewater. This method achieves water purification by physically precipitating impurities in the wastewater.
In addition, when treating mobile toilet wastewater, attention should be paid to regularly cleaning septic tanks to prevent blockages; in cold regions, freeze protection measures such as equipment heating or insulation layers should be taken; disinfection is essential, especially for medical wastewater; at the same time, ventilation systems can be equipped to reduce odors, and sound insulation designs can be adopted to improve user comfort.
