Mobile Toilet Usage Norms and Standards

Admin October 02, 2026

The usage norms and standards for mobile toilets vary depending on the scenario, primarily divided into two categories: outdoor activities, exhibitions, or construction project scenarios in Yichun, and construction site scenarios in Yichun. The specific norms are as follows:

Outdoor Activities, Exhibitions, or Construction Project Scenarios in Yichun

  1. Preparation Before Rental
Clarify the usage scenario and requirements, determine the number and type (standard/environmentally friendly/barrier-free) of toilets to rent based on the event scale (e.g., 3-5 toilet stalls for events with over 100 people) and site conditions (e.g., ground flatness, drainage facilities). It is recommended to communicate with the rental provider 3-5 days in advance to allow for transportation and installation time.
  2. Usage Process Norms
The toilets should be placed in a well-ventilated, dry area close to a water source, away from kitchens and garbage dumping areas. The ground should be hardened or covered with anti-slip mats to prevent vehicle碾压 (crushing). Barrier-free toilet stalls should have clear signage, with a passage space of over 1.5 meters reserved around them.
  3. Daily Maintenance and Safety
The rental provider should conduct at least one daily on-site maintenance visit, including replacing toilet paper and hand soap, and cleaning feces and garbage. The using unit should appoint a dedicated person to supervise the cleaning situation and immediately contact the rental provider for repairs if blockages or damages are found.
  4. Usage Prohibitions
It is prohibited to discard cigarette butts, metal objects, large pieces of garbage, etc., into the toilets. Avoid mixing chemical cleaners (such as toilet bowl cleaners) with the toilet's original deodorization system. Children should be accompanied by adults when using the toilets to prevent accidental drowning or slipping.

Construction Site Scenarios in Yichun

  1. Site Selection and Installation
Mobile toilets should be placed at least 5 meters away from the construction area, away from water sources and fire sources. During installation, ensure the ground is flat and use expansion bolts to secure the toilets to prevent tipping. A passage space of at least 1.2 meters should be reserved around the toilets for easy access and cleaning.
  2. Daily Usage Management
Dedicated personnel should be arranged to clean the mobile toilets on the construction site at least twice a day, in the morning and evening. Cleaning includes flushing the toilet, wiping surfaces, and replacing garbage bags. If blockages or leaks occur during use, immediately contact the rental provider for repairs.
  3. Environmental Maintenance
No clutter should be stored in the toilets, and it is strictly prohibited to throw cigarette butts or construction garbage into the toilet. Workers should flush the toilet promptly after use to keep the interior dry. During hot summer weather, ventilation equipment or air fresheners can be placed in the toilets to improve odor issues.
  4. Response to Special Situations
In the event of severe weather such as heavy rain or strong winds, check the fixation of the toilets in advance and take reinforcement measures if necessary. During low temperatures in winter, antifreeze can be added to the water tank to prevent the water pipes from freezing. Clear usage signage should be set up on the construction site to guide workers on proper usage.
