Mobile Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is composed of components such as storage tanks, sanitary ware, and walls, and can be classified in various ways. It has the characteristics of flexibility, adaptability to multiple scenarios, environmental protection, energy efficiency, and a good user experience.

Mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. They can be classified into single-structure and composite-structure mobile toilets based on their structural form; into hoisting and handling types, and powered and towed types based on their mobility; and into water-flushing and waterless-flushing suction types, circulating water-flushing types, and dry-packing types based on their sewage treatment methods.

Flexibility and Convenience: Mobile toilets can be easily transported to any location where they are needed and can be used repeatedly. They have the characteristics of mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation. For example, in the core areas of scenic spots, they can be installed with just a hardened ground surface, and the construction period can be shortened from the traditional three months to one week.

Adaptability to Multiple Scenarios: They are suitable for various places such as stations, docks, and tourist attractions. They can meet the toilet needs of temporary venues, avoiding the impact of long construction periods for fixed toilets on usage; they can be quickly deployed during large-scale events or festivals to meet the sanitation needs of large crowds; and in remote areas or regions with underdeveloped infrastructure, they can serve as emergency facilities to improve public sanitation conditions.

Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency: With the popularization of environmental protection concepts, many mobile toilets adopt water-saving technologies and environmentally friendly materials. For example, a new generation of prefabricated public toilets uses waterless-flushing microbial degradation technology, equipped with an intelligent operating system. Through 5G IoT technology for real-time monitoring, when the ammonia concentration exceeds the standard, it automatically triggers the投放 (addition) of bacterial strains and a deodorization mechanism, achieving "unmanned and low-carbon" operation and maintenance. One such public toilet can save more than 3,000 tons of water per year and reduce energy consumption by more than 30%.

Good User Experience: Some new-generation mobile toilets achieve the goal of "three nos" (no odor, no flies, no visible waste). The squat toilets use gravity sensing for opening and closing, and the excreta directly enter the degradation tank, preventing odor from escaping. At the same time, the three-stage microbial composite bacteria collaborative treatment technology enables a pollutant degradation rate of over 96%, and the air quality in the toilet approaches "sterile, odorless, and tasteless" conditions.
