Mobile Toilet Tile Size Selection

Admin October 09, 2026

The size of tiles for mobile toilets should be selected based on a comprehensive consideration of space size, functional requirements, and aesthetics. Common specifications and applicable scenarios are as follows:

I. Floor Tile Size Selection

  1. Small-sized floor tiles (10×10cm to 30×30cm)
Suitable for smaller mobile toilets (usually ≤5㎡), with common specifications such as 100×100mm, 150×150mm, and 300×300mm. These tiles offer excellent anti-slip performance, flexible laying, and can adapt to irregular space layouts, reducing material waste caused by cutting. They are particularly suitable for shower areas or wet floor areas, where small-sized tiling can enhance anti-slip effects.

  2. Medium-sized floor tiles (30×60cm, 40×40cm, etc.)
Balancing aesthetics and practicality, with common specifications such as 300×600mm and 400×400mm. Suitable for medium-sized mobile toilets (5-8㎡), they can reduce joint gaps, lower cleaning difficulty, and are compatible with most decoration styles, offering high cost-effectiveness.

  3. Large-sized floor tiles (80×80cm and above)
Suitable for larger mobile toilets (≥8㎡), such as 600×600mm and 800×800mm. Large-sized tiles can extend the visual space, making the overall area appear more spacious, with fewer joint gaps, facilitating easy cleaning and maintenance. However, it should be noted that the laying cost of large-sized tiles is higher, and stricter construction techniques are required.

II. Wall Tile Size Selection

  1. Small-area mobile toilets (≤5㎡)
Recommended specifications include 200×300mm and 250×330mm. Small-sized wall tiles can reduce cutting waste, lower material costs, and adapt to the layout requirements of narrow spaces.

  2. Medium-sized mobile toilets (5-8㎡)
300×600mm is the mainstream choice, balancing cost-effectiveness and compatibility, matching most decoration styles, and offering high construction efficiency.

  3. Large-space mobile toilets (≥8㎡)
Large-sized wall tiles such as 400×800mm and 600×1200mm can be selected. Large-sized tiles can reduce joint gaps, enhance a modern feel, but attention should be paid to construction costs and the requirements for wall flatness.

III. Key Considerations

  1. Matching space with specifications: Avoid using large-sized tiles in small spaces to prevent frequent cutting and waste; large spaces can try large-sized tiles to enhance the overall feel.
  2. Prioritizing functional requirements: For shower areas or floors, prioritize small-sized tiles with good anti-slip performance to ensure safety.
  3. Cost considerations: The laying cost of large-sized tiles is higher, and a comprehensive decision should be made based on the budget.
