How to Pack a Mobile Toilet Tent

Admin October 08, 2026

Refer to the following steps for packing a mobile toilet tent. Be patient and avoid violent operations to prevent damage to the structure:

Method 1: Conventional Folding Packing

  1. Initial Fold Lay the tent flat on the ground with the wider bottom side facing you. Step on one end of the tent's bottom (such as the position near the ground stakes or fixing points) with your foot. At the same time, hold the other end at the top of the tent with both hands and slowly press it down until it meets the bottom. The tent should now be in a long, rectangular shape with both ends fixed by your foot.

  2. Cross Fold Hold the two side edges of the folded tent with both hands and fold them towards the center in a cross shape (similar to folding a piece of paper in a 'Z' shape). Press downwards simultaneously while folding to further compress the volume of the tent. Pay attention to keeping both sides symmetrical during this step to avoid local bulging.

  3. Gather the Top Release the top end that was originally stepped on by your foot and use the inertia of the tent's structure to gather it inwards. If you encounter resistance, gently shake the tent or adjust the folding angle. Do not pull it forcefully.

  4. Put into the Storage Bag Gently roll up or fold the finally folded flat tent into a smaller volume. After confirming that there are no sharp parts protruding, put it into a dedicated storage bag. If the storage bag is small, you can compress the volume of the tent in steps before putting it in.

Method 2: Semi-circular Pushing Packing

  1. Fix the Bottom Semi-circle After unfolding the tent, step on the bottom semi-circular structure (usually the entrance of the tent or the bottom of the support frame) with your foot to ensure it is stable and does not move.

  2. Press the Top Hold the top frame of the tent with both hands and press it down until it meets the bottom semi-circle. The tent should now be in a flat shape, but pay attention to maintaining the integrity of the frame and avoid excessive bending that may cause deformation.

  3. Push Back for Packing Grab the two side edges of the tent with your hands and push them inwards to the original packing position (such as the fixing slots or storage slots of the supports). This method is suitable for tents with elastic supports or foldable frames. When pushing back, operate in the direction of the elasticity of the supports.

Precautions

  • Avoid Brute Force: If you encounter a jam during the packing process, check whether there is fabric entanglement or support misalignment instead of using force.
  • Keep Dry: Before packing, ensure that the inside of the tent is dry to avoid mildew or odor. If the tent is wet, you can dry it in the sun or wipe it with a dry cloth.
  • Regular Inspection: After long-term use, check whether the tent supports, zippers, and other components are damaged, and repair or replace the accessories in a timely manner.
